Was flying from 6:30am onwards, cracking morning. Hopefully the start of many like it. Looking forward to this season!!

OOOOOHHHH yes I did. 6 on the 550, 2 on the 500 and 5 on the FPV quad, in beautiful unbroken sunshine - - - best day flying for 6 months.
Please Lordy, can it stay like this till Xmas?

Windy and cloudy but still tolerable for the 6hv. 4 flights after lunch and pack up as my fingers were getting cold and uncomfortable. Hopefully tomorrow's forecast will hold and the 7hv will come out.

Another cloudy and windy day but the temperature is a bit higher. The adrenaline rush from flying the 7hv as it is pushed harder is still there. Lowered flight time by 30 seconds as Im flying at a higher headspeed. I just love 700 helis as they sit still there even with wind gusts of 18mph. Tomorrow looks promising for the 500 but unfortunately, wife is day off so will hold flying. Thursday and Friday will be then.

2 flights on the newly rebuilt 550, went ok but it has a massive dead spot around midsticks like I have way too much expo used. I also put my first 2 flights on the 700e, what a lovely heli that is to fly! Again needs more work on the setup as the was no rise in headsets between normal, idle up 1 and idle up 2! The 700 has a much faster roll and piro rate the 550 too!

All in a good little session and it got me back into it after almost a month without flying!

I'm still trying to crack half piro flips and I do feel I'm improving but still feeling slightly frustrated with myself for not nailing it

The 550dfc was awesome but I've decided it's time to treat the 450 to some new packs, mine are two years old and in a bit of wind they really show up as being weak

Just need to glue the second part on the back of it now

Had a fantastic day out in a field with the MCPX today. Squeezed 11 batteries in. With all that extra space I got a lot of orientation practise in, even managed a few good nose in hovers and I landed nose in once too.

I also got to do some very bad circuits, horrendous figure of 8's, almost out of control stall turns and lots of just flying around. All in all a fantastic hour and forty five min flying that put a idiotic smile on my face. The confidence I got from having all that space was amazing. Just wish I took the 500 out for some gentle flying, maybe next time.

I flew today! Beautiful weather for it too! 4 flights on the 700e and I am really loving this thing, the blade chop noise you get coming off the bottom of a loop is fantastic and I love the way it just sits there solid as a rock in the hover!

I also flew my new Trex 150 in the dark out the front of my house! It's a lively little thing that's for sure but lots of fun!

Nope, Don't think i've flown for three months now. Need somewhere decent to fly while at University really. Holidays in 2 weeks though so the weather better be good
