I know that feeling only too well :-) Had a stonking second flight with a bit of forward inverted fig 8s that I haven't done for a long while. Maybe next time. Yep he did well and it was gusty to boot and he was nervous with all of us watching him. He's got a Blade 300X for his birthday.

The description on Youboob says 2 flights but I suppose that doesn't show up in preview. I wish I got more than 4 mins as I might be able to show some diversity in my flying

Up at LMAC first thing, upgraded all the firmware, double-checked everything and got ready for the day. It got really busy around 12 so I packed up and went to MK. 2 Minutes into my first flight at MK and the tail goes into uncontrolled piros. I hit hold but didn't have enough height and it went down in the mud. The grub screw had backed out of the tail hub, no Loctite, I have no idea how I missed that one idiot!! The only plus is a mate got this pic earlier in the day.

Thanks for the new desktop wallpaper. It replaces the one I have of the back of Don's head LOL

I believe he's 6/7 years old and he's sensible with the sticks. Disadvantage is he uses thumbs only and the DX8 is a bit big for him. Only hope my daughter doesn't get caught up in all the horse riding and ballet stuff so she can appreciate the RC hobby in a couple of years.

With regards to the videos I will take on board any useful critique and as a result I will not only be recording in landscape from now on (lol) but will also be investing in a GoPro later in the year!

Had a great day today! Maidened my plane. It's the first time that I've ever flown a plank and the first time I've actually flown anything in almost 4 years! And I actually surprised myself just how well I did. Even did some loops and rolls. All the sim time really helps.
Was lovely flying over the Yorkshire Dales

Surprising I flew for ten and half minutes and only used 33% of the lipos capacity :0 awesome!

Was flying from 6:30am onwards, cracking morning. Hopefully the start of many like it. Looking forward to this season!!

OOOOOHHHH yes I did. 6 on the 550, 2 on the 500 and 5 on the FPV quad, in beautiful unbroken sunshine - - - best day flying for 6 months.
Please Lordy, can it stay like this till Xmas?
