Did YOU fly today??

Today I decided to take my two 600 electrics out together. I had not flown them since sometime late last year and had not brought them both out at the same time. It was a bit breezy but nice and sunny and both helis seemed pretty much un-fazed by the wind.

I even tried a little bit of ultra low headspeed with the Beam by running a single 4000mah 6s pack and it was amusing but I didn't feel like it was the least bit aerobatically capable. Maybe it's geared too long in the first place and 1000 rpm just isn't enough. It's kinda fun though and I love the sound.

Yep bloody awesome maidened my 50 cc plank and both the 600 and 500 both flew well in the breeze and they all come home intact which is great

it's been +13C outside and sunny and without a single gust of wind - was being observed through the office window. weekend came, sudden change into storms with snow again. argh... no flying.

Went to Cuffley with Tony (Sesame) and Gavin (Kaos RC), was superb, what a great place to fly. Thanks for the hospitality all, and we'll done those who passed their tests!

Flew the logo, needs dialing in a little but loved it.

had another 10 good flights on the 700s where the *cough* sponsored *cough* pilots stayed in as it was too windy ... loooool - even the old sport that usually doesnt like the wind flew today ... what does that say ?!? jolly good day ...
