I snuck out today with the 500 as yesterday's two flight was not successful. I have a tail kick on rainbows and blowout on reverse loop. Funny thing is, I came from a 12hr night shift and without any sleep, I had a memory lapse. Tweak the tail on vbar and went straight to flying field. Took the 500 out of the car; next is the tool box. Opened tool box and found out that transmitter is not in the box.Quickly realized that I left it home, luckily flying field is just 5mins drive from home. Went home quickly and found transmitter on the sofa. Getting a bit sleepy, a quick glass of starbucks coffee from the fridge will fix it. Fully alert, had a good time flying on the field. 500 tail is locked in and no more kicks nor blowouts. On my last lipo, did a few circuits that made me crashed last time and Im happy to say that I came home with the bird in one piece. Time to sleep now.

Nice Julius. One time I forgot to take the flight packs.. 30min drive from home to flying field. So I stayed there and chatted with the mates.
The 500 it's one sweet heli. You running it with vbar gov? It flies beautifully with vbar gov.

I will start taking the 500 at work and have some flights there during break or after I finish.
It's an industrial area, so I have to find a place with enough space.

After i decided to fly on a daily basis, today i was searching for a place to fly near my work area. I found a couple nice open fields.

That is a Multiplex parkmaster, some age on the wings but very good fun

took the t rex 150 up the field. 3rd battery the motor plug came out in which it ended up hitting the deck. broken skids and a cracked frame so happy days NOT lol

Well even though I was at work all weekend the car park is big and very empty so I flew the 150 about, briefly, before I flipped it straight into the side of the building! blades, servo, main shaft and canopy!

I also won a plastic fantastic Gaui Hurricane 425 on ebay and was test hovering outside when the scurge of the 3gx struck! fitst kept wandering backwards like I was pulling back on the elavator, landed and checked it all out, then as I spooled it up it kept trying to tip to the left! and then it stopped so I spooled up fully and just as it was about to lift off it suddenly tipped to the right smashing the blades up!

When it was in the air it was very juttery and on edge so I am guessing perhaps a thicker mounting pad might be required?

I took mine out in the wind, then got rained and hailed on so had to quickly run for the car. Sat in the car 15 minutes then got glorious sunshine and no wind it surprised the hell out of me.

Today I've learn't that stall turns are amusing when the wind gets under the blades.

This is the start of my third week out of the country and haven't flown at all in that time. Today's tour of local hobby/RC shops saw me playing on a sim however but I knew it would all end in tears when I selected a 700 to fly; the tears came after about 10 seconds! The 10 year old (ish) lad that followed me then proceeded to show me how it's done having never flown a helicopter before! Kids, don't you just hate them.

11 flights this weekend, been a good couple of sessions. Half for a laugh, half as a dare, I tried my first inverted auto. It went wrong but I just saved it
