Another 3 flights today and got to meet fellow addict Rich23 at the field for the first time. Only hope we haven't scared him off for good :-) Had a little play with the style and agility for the fun of it and managed to get some piro-circuits and fig 8s in as well as a bit of right-rudder piroflipping (for a change) nearer the end of the video.

First flights on the new logo 480. Went for the vortex in this one rather than the supplied V-bar. No real reason apart from the 400se has a V-bar. Feels lovely straight out of the box with the new version software and apart from upping the tail gain 5% and reducing the cyclic gain 5% it was perfect. Much quieter than the 400se and it autos which is brilliant as it is something I miss practicing since i ditched the trex 500 which still needs to be rebuilt.

Two flights on the Fusion 50, two on the Trex 500 for me.
It was borderline too windy for me for much of the day, but it actually didn't stop me doing my usual flying for a change. Shame about the wind as it would have been t-shirt weather without it, and I had to wear my coat.Current fleet: Goblin Thunder Sport (700), Trex 700L, Logo 600, Specter 700, Henseleit TDR, V-Baaa control.
Next heli: I have pretty much everything I want. Maybe I'll upgrade some electronics or something.

had a jolly good day at MK today ... flew my 700 in a slight breeze ... but too many talented pilots around Andy Kirby, Connor Sloan, Alex Hawtin, Duncan Osbourn, Ian Contessa, Aaran Turner, Scott Westgate ..... only one thing to say: guys sort your gyros out and learn to hover - those helis were all over the place

Left the goblin at home today and took the 450 pro up the field, used three battery's then done some inverted practice hovering tail in with the mcpx. After a few battery's doing that I was trying to do some hurricane's and funnels, hence trying lol. Hit the floor twice but im getting there slowly.

Had a not so good flight yesterday as it was windy plus flying with only 2hrs of sleep did not help at all. My mind seems faster than my reflexes as I flip forward I nearly planted the heli tail first, it was literally 1-2inch of the ground when I recovered it
. After the 4 packs, I had two more near misses. It seems that the 550 is eager to hit the ground. Now I know that in order to improve heli flying at least fly one consistent size, not jumping from one size to another. I got more float on the 50 and 90 size heli because of the longer blades. All in all I got 3 near crash on this heli yesterday. Today, no flying for me as I doing some errands for the kid's swimming lessons. I will be at the pool twice
today.

Managed to get to the field today and what a gorgeous flying day it was. I have to admit going electric was a good move, I did more today in the morning than any other morning for years. Tried out the stable mat too as a landing pad; quite effective it was.Helicopter pilots get it up quicker.
When the blue light is flashing I am kidding.
Why simplify when it is so much simpler to complicate.
