Nice little evening session, 2 on the 550 and 1 on the 425. I felt the need to spend the entire battery on the last flight just going back to basics doing slow figure eights and doing side/nose in hovering.

Ended the last flight by nailing a near perfect nose in landing! Plonked it down nice and gently dead in the middle of the landed pad, well chuffed!!

Had a 4 packs yesterday on my old school ESP and it was very sluggish. Maybe my motor is on it's way out. After 2 lipos, wiggled the head noticed the pitch link ball was loose. Loctite and tightened it up. Now, had to adjust the tracking. Not enjoyed flying this bird anymore. I had to check everything last night and noticed my gear ratio on the vbar gov, I was overgeared.Changed the pinion from 16T to 15T, hopefully it will fly better with higher torque this time. Another 4 packs of lipo waiting to be discharged to test if there were any changes happened to the flying characteristics of this heli.

Sneak 2 flights at lunch as I was bringing things to recycle centre. Heli flies better and definitely more power but Im sure the bearing maybe shot as I could hear a high pitch sound on spoolup and goes on until the rest of the flight. Ordered new sets of bearings and some mechanics stethoscope to check the bearing before taking up the motor apart.

Just put a couple of batteries through my mcpx bl, wow that head can turn at some rate. Really pleased with it, much better than my v2. More control for sure. Just need more batteries now lol

3 quick flights with my trusty 600n this evening.

Had a really nice session today, 4 on the Gaui 425, 2 on the 550e and 1 on the 700e. I was going for a second flight then my reciever lost its bind so I took that as an omen and went home! Still charging the batteries 6 hours later!! Lol

Well, just had a 4 flights with my ailing ESP and was completely happy with it for the first time. New ABEC bearings for the scorpion motor, tightened meshing and completely oiled any bearings I could reach. Byebye screeching motor, hello blade farts and flying enjoyment. Thought really hard about this bird of being decommissioned if I could not fix it because although it was my first 50 size heli, it gave me more headaches rather than just flying with it worry free. A few more weaks on the dual rates and she flies like my 6hv, a real performance heli. Did a few autos and even managed to do a few grass cutting. I hope the farmer wouldn't mind me cutting a few of his crops.

Yep. Grabbed 3 flights this morning on the V3'd Logo and a bonus flight with the youngest club member's Blade 300X.

No but did finally manage to sit down and repair my old 500 esp so up the field tomorrow weather permitting..
