Had a quick fly of the 450 in the garden. When I last flew it, I thought that the blade tracking seemed to be out. I checked and found that a blade grip ball joint was loose! I was lucky it didn't come out in mid air.
It's all right now.

Two missions accomplished; 1. First flight with the Total-G on my Trex 500 (used to have a BeastX on it). That went well, just a few gain tweaks and it feels really good but I may have damaged one of my packs by not hitting the timer button properly, we'll see, I may get away with it. Mission 2; Flying the Triabolo with some different Vortex settings, different ESC and Opti Ultraguard. All went well except for a pitching up tendency in fast forward flight but I have not yet updated to version 3 so maybe that will sort it out.

I want to but the battery charger gods are against me. I picked up a brand new 130x (and for me that's a step up in size) on Tuesday and all day today I've had an unoccupied factory and car park to play in but it's got a knackered battery charger and no chance of a replacement till next week bah. Hopefully if I get home for the bank holiday I'll be able to jury rig something with my smart charger but I'm not holding my breath. Did somebody say this hobby is frustrating?

Had 5 flights with the 500 DFC at the field today. I readjusted the tail gain on the first pack as it was too low and now it's very snappy and doesn't have a bump after a tail input. The following 4 packs were used up on orientation hover practise, forward/sideways/backward flight, landing practise and turning. I think I've lost the art of turning! I just couldn't complete a full circle.

Also had 10 batteries in the MCPX at the field which went very well. After several attempts at inverted hovering I finally got the thumbs working properly! Well chuffed with myself but one to many crashes into the crops have left the MCPX with a nasty cyclic wobble. I've checked feathering shaft, main shaft, swash and the servos but it's still there.

After getting to work at 7:30 this morning I had time for 4 quick flights before the job turned up

I flew today also, well my quads lol. Flew the Agile last Sunday in anger as I was ****ed off but man do I loves beating on that heli in my own little way of beating

4 really good flights on the Goblin 500, tried some 4000mAh batteries and still got 4:30 , so we'll pleased with them.

Today was the Dune's turn and I'm really liking it with Radix 625s. But it was darn chilly out there, seriously almost TX mit weather. It was fine when the sun was shining but when it clouded up and the wind kicked in it was like winter. I took the little Beam out for the first time since Gran Canaria but it's making a squealing noise like something needs oil, so I need to figure out what that is before risking any damage.
