Stunning spring day today! Warm, calm air and sunshine everywhere!! Had the best 5 flights of my life with the protos max including the biggest overspeed I've ever done! I also started the boring engine break in procedure for my new nitro short course truck and a couple of goes with the xray nitro buggy too.

Finally after not flying for 6 months and building this, I actually got to maiden the 600 Airwolf today, was a little shaky, but the Heli flew better than I expected.

20 on the 700L today, first proper day of the season

It was a near perfect day yesterday, even warm enough for just a T-shirt for most of the afternoon. I still feel really rusty from so little flying over the winter but I'm slowly getting back in the saddle. I brought the Beam 450 and actually didn't feel too nervous flying it, so I guess I'm getting used to the small one again, just need to go through the FBL setup because it's not rolling straight (probably just my thumbs though).

four flights on the goblin this morning from 7.30am, work at 1...:-(.... had to go early today as only me fly's helicopter and when all the plank boys turn up I struggle getting a flight in and they try and brush me off to the lower end of the field saying there little foamy takes priority! it does make me chuckle, if there are any mainly heli clubs within 30 mins of gainsborough/Scun..thorpe let me know.

Went through 6 packs on the 450l today, plucked up enough courage on the last two to try my first ever (in real life) flips and barrel rolls, though a bit messy they went great and didn't have to use the rescue. Also did my first stall turns, need more sim time for loops. Great day!

Sunday especially was a cracking day here. i got about 15 flights in over the weekend including a few with my new (to me) KDS Agile 7.2:

Met up with Tony and got 3 flights in on the Protos at lunch today. The wind was strong and right in the face. Not the best session but tried some GR practise and even had to use the rescue for the first time on the Protos.

2 flights today on the Trex 700L, really enjoying it. Fly's very different to the e700. Still getting use to the V-control too, which is also very different than the DX7s i used previously.

Also got to use my new case today for the V-control, really happy with it. Only cost £15 from Maplin.

6 flights today on my G570 and Logo 480, still a bit chilly out. Hoping the warmer weather not too far away.
