Had a go on my sisters other half's well crashed mcpx v2! Tail blows out when you try and loop it but a good chuckle just to buzz about anyway! I had brought my FPV quadcopter along but I'd forgotten my chuffing transmitter! Doh!!

3 flights with the Rave Ballistic, 3 with the E720 and 3 with the E700 Got there for 9.30 so it was lovely and calm. Wind picked up as the day went on. Very enjoyable

The joys of just starting out with this hobby and only owning a Blade Nano and msrx is that I can fly, indoors, every day. Somedays I am the dog, other days I am the lamppost. Definitely the lamppost today, the Nano's got a forward and left drift, have I crashed it once too many times? I can trim the drift out but I don't think this drift is normal.

7 flights on the 700 today and a few on the 450 - one partial brain fart but liking the feel of the new transmitter ... now its getting used to it ... jolly good day

2 packs on the E700 and 4 tanks through the X50 this morning. Perfect sky, if a little windy. Pulled off my first inverted piro circuits which I am insanely pleased about!

4 flights on the 550dfc one gentle break in of a new pack and three packs battling the wind, managed a few more broken down half piro flips and managed to keep it thereabouts so I was happy with that

One flight on the 450 as I decided to quit after one rather than slamming it in the deck

And one with the mcpx bl, now that was interesting

We had very little wind down in Surrey. When I left the house at about 11.00 it was actually warm enough to wear shorts and a T-shirt but after a while it was a bit too chilly in the shade so had to don the flyin trousers. Most of the day was sunny but it got cold colder as the day wore on. I spent most of the day trying everything in the known universe to get a new motor to work in the Rave and eventually changed it out for a rewound Align 700M motor that is a little powerhouse now and pulls like a freight train! So I managed only one proper flight with the Rave but that's life with helis, sometimes it takes tweaking and fiddling but it seems ready to rock now.

Yep. Eight flights getting used to FPV on the quad and I love it!
I want 5km range and 20 minutes flight time, 100 MPH flat out speed and OSD thet tells me exactly when I really need to come home....
Plus HD in the goggles and stereo Hi-Fi sound..
Anyone?

Well seeing as my 550 is temporarily out of action I cheered myself up with 3 FPV flights on the quad, recharged them and put the same 3 batteries through my 450!

I keep forgetting just how nice and smooth that 450 is to fly! Although with only 3 3s lipos shared between the quad and the 450 I think I should perhaps get some more!

Went flying indoors last night, all was going well (flips, rolls, rainbows, tic-toc's & inverted) for the first 3 batts. Fourth batt-not so good! Started at the far end flipping it end over end back up to near end of the gym & dumped it on its skids heavily-bollocks! main shaft, main gear, blades, 1 DFC link & 1 boom stay rod (where one of the blades struck) Pilot error-started at 4M's height & ended minus, the last flip I was a bit lazy on the collective.
Three months flying indoors now, think I'm getting a little "stir crazy" My 550 is covered with a layer of dust!

I'm going to be hung, drawn and quartered for this but I vortexed my Logo thanks to a certain forum member only wanting to buy a mini V from me instead of my fullsize
Maidened it this morning and very happy so far but as my charger balance board was fubar as of yesterday I only had one 4 minute flight and didn't get to play around with many of the settings. Had to use the YGE internal governor as the E. gov has not been released but it suited my purposes and the Logo 550 is flying great anyways and looking forward to some more flying on the weekend.

Now that's over with I'll just get my coat, hang up the TX and head to Mexico
