re plastic horns, i think if you use JR on a 90 size heli you should give serious thought to running metal horns-especially if FBL and a YS120 or OS105 etc. it is usually due to the thinner splines JR use that the horns fail-very rare with futaba.

personally i hate metal horns but i opted to use them on my own 90's due to vbar and YS120 just incase since i run JR servos.

What size rec batt are you guys using. This is my first fbl heli so advice would be appreciated.

Yea its almost back together, T dropped some bits off about an hour ago.
The link rod between the blade grip and the swash plate flew off in the crash and we couldnt find it, the only links I could get today were the FB ones and theyre coming up too short. So I need a 61mm x 2mm rod and Ive got nothing close to that here, I might be able to nick one off Ians gasser for tomorrow so I should be giving it another go.
Mind you it will be overshadowed by Marks N2 he's gone YS56 & Vbar so it'll probably out perform mine, the only plus side for me is I havent got to run my engine in!!!

Glad you are fixed again Guy and i hope tomo goes well for you the n2 looks great!,,, Could any of you N2 owers put a picture of the raido tray in them up for me many thanks guys i cant wait till i get home in a few weeks and go and get mine and get building hope the sookum and 55 R work well

Liamm- if i can suggest something buddy. your really not getting good performance from that tail servo there mate. i assume the N2 has mixing holes on the rudder bellcrank? if so please move it there and go out 2 holes with a different servo arm to get better resolution if possible. if not go out at least 1 hole there buddy.

edit-couple of other things you should do imo- take the tie wrap off the vbar sensor, you need to let that wire run free as it were and tiewraps on a nitro model is a bad idea-they act like a knife so if you have to do it use fuel tubing round it or some velcro and tie wrap the velcro if need be. anyway just take the tiewrap off and let the wire run as free as possible.

also please please hot glue all wires in to your reg/vbar before you fly it. if you don't have a hotglue gun then pick one up for about 5 quid-well worth having in this game.

Failing that I use clear silicone, it does the same as hot glue but its a bit easier to remove if you need to get the plugs out.

al get on with it now mate i only put the tie rap on as on mr mels vids he said to do so on there and i have some silicon at home so al get that t done will originally stuff do for sealing glass windows and stuff ?

and the tail bell cranks has 2 holes its on the outer one at the minute i got my tail set up to have servo pitch when the servo is at its neutral point and i tried moving it to the outer holes but when i was setting my travels on the vbar it was getting near the 80 and 120 and it said not to go below or above them al have another look tho
