      This is the stuff.

Servo plugs will not come out easily when hanging off them, but its comes off when you pick a bit off. It then pulls off in one hit, unlike hot glue.

              • Well thats it!

I give up with the N2.

I was soooo looking forward to this heli, it was supposed to be just like my V2 but better, sadly not, even my V2 stayed new for 4 minutes!

Fridays maiden lasted 2 minutes and after 11 hours running round fetching parts, rebuilding, repairing, setting up, re checking set up, repairs, and everything else todays flight lasted less than 20 seconds. For some reason I had no control over the pitch once it'd spooled up, other than that I cant be arsed to investigate further & Im not prepared to spend any more time, money or effort on a heli that has only been available for 5 days and has already been in twice!

One of my clubmates has it now and I'm going back to my Trex 600!

I shall wipe it from my sig and my Avatar and never speak Velocity again!

                • Gutting mate

You havent flipped the blade grips when rebuilding it? Had that happen at the field a couple of months ago, and he described the same thing.

                  • Del mate.... Did you get the BeastX set up?
If you can keep your head, when all others around are losing theirs - you have probably not understood the seriousness of the situation!!

                    • Yup as Sacko said, I'd put money on reversed blade grips after re-build. A mate did exactly that; You spool up, realise nothing is happening as you lift the collective stick, then slam it shut, only for the machine to jump in the air like a scalded cat, but then with the engine/motor now off, it sonn does a blade stop auto, resulting in a nasty landing

Yea you might be right mate, but I didnt bother looking over it much afterwards, as it hit the ground and bits flew off it I just thought "Life's too short!"

I could see that all the links have broken off the head again but there's no way of telling what was cause or symptom!

                          • Looking at your picture, it looks like its setup as trailing edge control on the blade grips, but looking at the manual here: https://outragerc.com/manual/Velocit...06-01-12_5.pdf it shows that it should be leading edge

Yes a quick phone call to my mate who has it now does indeed confirm that the grips are reversed. I guess thats what spending too long on a model does to you, it gets to the stage where you cant see the wood for the trees!
