  • I want to fly a Heli into a container flat out!

After a tough day that cheered me up

    • I found out when tightening down the tail blade grip with the shoulder screw M2, its no longer smooth on the shaft. If I loosen it, then its fine, but makes me a little nervous, how loose should they be ?

      Thanks in advance

      • I'm finding that the TT gears on both ends don't mesh to well. Is there any way to smooth them out more? After half a turn they get sticky if that makes sense. Or will they bed in after a few flights? Thanks

Mines seem to be ok, I imagine they will settle in as long as there isn't any backlash

          • With gears I always give them a couple of flights before I get to concerned. Put a little grease on them to help with those first few flights.

I use Futaba servo grease just to help a little then apply it every so often to make sure all is smooth but you will have to keep on eye on them incase any grit gets on them. So just clean them often with a toothbrush and reapply as needed

It should be tight. If its not smooth then you may have some threadlock or other foreign matter in the assembly somewhere, youre probably best off stripping it all down cleaning it all up and trying again.

              • I agree with Guy, I wasn't 100% happy with mine so stripped it down and rebuilt it and I'm a lot happier with it now

                          • hi guys,

I am currently building my N2 but having a problem with the tail, i think they may have given me the wrong boom. In the instructions the boom has a whole at the end of the boom near the tail blade, but on mine there is nothing. is it just me or are they all like that?

                            Thanks

                              • hi mate i dont think mine did but will check tomorrow for you i arnt sure what it would be for tbh as you lock the tail in position from the pin screw on the top and then you clamp it with the screw on the right just looked at the manual for you but there is nothing to go in there from what i can see and remember from building mine
