Did YOU fly today??

Got in a few flights with my trusty old Trex 500. Many thanks to the guys at AMPs rc club in Miami. Tomorrow I'm on a plane back to Blighty so I hope the weather is coming around about now.

Bit windy up here in South Yorks but got a stack of flights on my Trex 500 and HelixheliGT600 gasser, fueled up my E700 Gasser fired it up and middle fuel tank ( Trex 700 Nitro tank ) blanking plug let go, petrol everywhere luckily no fire. Had one of those Quick EU thingies in it to stop it leaking, whipped tank out and on examination the rubber plug had nearly split in two. Went up to Fastlads and can't by a bung on it's own and icing on the cake no tanks in stock either.
Fixed it using this HN6083 Fuel Tank Assembly just tapped inside of nipple m3, screwed in a m3 grub screw with sealant on threads, assembled it and shoved it all in tank, job done.

I wussed out today and carried on putting my Trex 700 together. It's not that I fear the wind, it's that it takes the fun out of flying once it gets past about 17mph. The gusts must have been about 30mph at home today, and it's always more windy up Dronfield.

Not Dronfield today Darren, was flying at Concorde MFC at High Green. Trex 700 take that it's leccy, got a G4 with a nitro motor half built sat here at the side of me but thought better to fly than build.

Was working from home today and managed to get some cheeky flights in after dropping the kids at school. 11 flights in an hour, and I'm starting to get a feel for the X3 now

A few more flights on the 250 in the garden as the kids had supper and that's 14 flights today which makes a nice change, that's more than I've been managing in a week recently!

I flew today, and hated it. Horrible white cloudy sky.

Left the field about 5PM, and before I got 2 miles away the sun was out. Typical. No sign of it all day.

10 today at the FMHC flyin.

2 on the Ballistic, 4 on the G380, and 4 on the logo. Great stuff, although even with loads of suncream my face is still a bit warm tonight.

I got ten flight in today and got some air under the rotors of all my fleet, which makes a nice change as the weather has been terrible for weeks here.

Nothing exciting as far as the flying goes but the main thing is that all helis went home in the same condition that they left!

It was the first day this year when we didn't have strong winds at sunny MK.

I had 6 flights with the 700 and 2 with the 600 and took them home intact, Success!

Flew the arse of my raptor 50, 2 flights on my 700e and no flights on the wicked little protos 500 'cos I stumbled and trod on the bloody boom!!

Went down to the field yesterday with good friend Dan22, had 4 good flights with the Rex 550, loving this Heli doing nice 3D and some ok autos. Dan's Logo is looking really good just like his flying.

Bring on the nice weather!!
