I had my best session yet, I haven't been flying much at all recently but got my dx9 back last weekend and put 10 packs through my 600 this weekend. I got to my final pack and strung everything together big air, speed runs, flips, loops, rolls and some inverted. Lots of blade farts and had a fair few watchers.
Landed with an auto which I've been practicing and it looked good, then I got cocky and tried another couple, lost my head speed to quick on my last one and cut some grass with my mains, thankfully it'd lost most of its headspeed and all I can see is a nick out of the root of my tail blades. I'm going to change the feathering shaft bolts as a precaution, stick some tails on and it's good for next weekend
I've had a pretty good flying session with my buddy yesterday in dublin. 8 packs on my 450, tried some loops, and tried for the first time inverted circuit. It wasn't anything near as smooth as i get it in the simulator, but at least i didn't crash ).
Also did some tik-toks, but the heli isn't flying well enough for that, shakes alot... (Align 3g v2.0).
My buddy is pretty happy with his v5 software on his 3gx. Maybe i'll upgrade as well.
More spectating than flying but Rich23 did let me have a flight on his 500 and a few minutes on his Goblin 700. Cheers Rich! :-)
Your flying is shaping up nicely BTW.
After the last of our flights some tool pulled up in his car further up the field and during one of his flights flew over the top of a group of youngsters and then stall turned back over them! Insane! Not far from the 'pits' or myself and I kind of cringed as the youngsters I don't think fully appreciated what could occur. Not your usual dog walkers in the park scenario either as this is a farmer's land with crops and there is only provision of one public path across the field for dog walkers and pedestrians so not like they could have gone anywhere else and there was plenty of field to fly in the other direction till they passed. It's one thing to lose a bit of control but another to continue flying in an area knowing that people are there.
Anyway a nice day for flying.

I'm more than a little annoyed at not being able to fly today as it might be the only sunny day this week.
