Did YOU fly today??

Flew my 500 clone today, did the finishing touches. Flew great, but on my 3rd pack tail wasn't locked in and 2 mins into the flight it lost control during some pitch pumps. I thought i stripped the gears as i was doing some pitch pumps to test the tail, but the pitch slider came off. Did manage to th hold and regain control but i couldn't land it well. Only damage was ail servo, gears are intact but it just doesn't work well.

Not much luck lately took 450x out after gear stripped last week only to have gear slipping landed found motor bearing shot sent back to horizon hope to get replaced

Only 2 flights today on my Trex600N spent the rest of the time "putting the world to rights"....beautiful day for flying here in lowestoft

Perfect weather for flying... I got my X3 dialed in and flew three packs... Another three packs on my Atom 5.5.

It turned out to be a pretty nice day down here. I hadn't flown in about three weeks! Took out the Dune and the three-blade Beam. The Dune flew great and the fluorescent tape helps visibility a lot. The Beam ESC didn't seem to want to go above about 1/3 throttle so I have to figure out what's up with that.

Three flights with my "new" 700 e DFC. It was superb.

3 flights on the 550, 1 on the raptor and 2 on the shuttle. Had 2 forced autos too!! Once on the 550 where I'd forgotten to set the timer and once on the shuttle where I'd ran it out of fuel!

Both came down totally undamaged from well over 30ft which I was impressed with as prior to this I'd only ever auto'd from less than head height!

Helis have taken a backseat for a few weeks but met up with Rich23 and another club mate today to get a couple of Logo flights in and even chanced some inverted funnels (weaker side) at the end of the first flight. Fingers crossed for the same weather on the weekend.

Managed to get 5 flights in on the 500 after whats seemed like forever. Got a quick 2 flights in just to finish off the Vortex setup then had a check flight and finally had 2 flights with some well practised moves in. I can say I'm very happy with the setup now after some added expo on the cyclic.

A good afternoons flying again with good company.
