Thanks Don, I was going to buy some later after the bikes back on the road & i see that the prices have come right down too but for now i was using the 3 i have that's useable lol. One of them (the newest) a cell has died completely. I still need to get it flying right with these packs so that any new packs aswell & i can use bank switching to go between set ups. I also need to take the tail servo apart as it has a notch at centre so it may need new gears. Hey i could do with a large glass of that JD you were drinking last night lol.
Oh the 'newest' is a fourth pack which i cannot use obviously unless i remove that dead cellLast edited by p4ddy; 08-02-2015, 01:06 PM.Yes the big sigpic is coming back

Had the big bird out yesterday (Sunday) for some nice practice flying (not found a club/safe flying ground in Cardiff yet) until well.... I binned it
Weather was nice and calm and everything was geared for a few more good flights. same about the mix of conditions that I just didn't see coming.

Pleased to say that fitting the spare antistatic kit i had seemed to have sorted the problem for 4 flights. Couldnt test it any further than that as i got too cocky with attempting piroflips and flopped blades first into the mud - ouch!Originally posted by bigpops View PostMy first thought is static.
My Warp was fine, from when I got it in summer 2013, 'til the middle of 2014 when I'd suddenly lose power for no apparent reason. Over and over.
Sure enough, as soon as I bonded the boom to the frame (and checked it with a meter), all the problems went away. I followed this post here: HeliFreak - View Single Post - Grounding tail boom?
You might also need to sand off some of the paint on the boom to match where it contacts in the boom block.
New mains, a few bearings and a rotor hub, plus a bodge-it repair of a canopy mount and a skid; not bad for a propper spanking!

had a dreadful flight with the 130x. power would drop and tail vibe was out of control.
i think the gears were spinning on the tail.
i decided to put a 150 stretch on it with the bearing half way along the boom.
new gears and changed some bearings. it is running sweet as anything with normal size blades.
i have gone a bit mad on upgrades on it lately.
time to calm down.
i may be selling it if i can tame the 180cfx1x EGS, TREX 450 PRO DFC & 130X. DX9 radio. No idea what i am doing trying to fly

Result!
I flew my Warp yesterday (3 flights). It's still not 100% right, but I think my problem might be cyclic gain related, and I've been chasing a tail problem. I was going to fly the X3 too, but after noticing play in the grips, I checked my spindle bolts. Sure enough, they've been backing out. Red loctite for them I think.
I also maidened my Agile 5.5 on 12S. Wow. Had I known it would be that good, I'd never have bothered trying 6S. Looks like I'm keeping that bad boy now.Current fleet: Goblin Thunder Sport (700), Trex 700L, Logo 600, Specter 700, Henseleit TDR, V-Baaa control.
Next heli: I have pretty much everything I want. Maybe I'll upgrade some electronics or something.
