Really enjoyed 3 flights on the 450 and 2 on the Goblin 570. The 4 the pack on the 450 however seemed to run out of power early on, pity I was inverted 10 foot up at the time, but just some links and perhaps a swash plate and an rjx arm damaged, blades survived weirdly.

working shifts means unfortunately i don't have regular days or weekends to fly but i try to make the most of the time i have in the week on my days off
today i had a bit of a lazy day and have really enjoyed the 20 or more flights on my little blade
slowly making progresses to side orientated hovering but without a simulator lead for phoenix (lost during house move) makes it a little harder
really looking forward to getting back into this hobby with a couple larger models hopefully on the horizonMatt
Current = Blade mcpx v2 + DX6i
Future = 1st - PL6 + PSU 2nd - Chase 360 3rd - DX9 4th - Who knows...there's too much choice

had a good session this afternoon, 2 flights on the raptor 30 and 3 on the 700e. I hadn't flown the 700 for over a month and I'd completely forgotten how much nicer it flies than everything else!MSH Protos Max V2. Vbar Neo, Cyclone 715, zeal, talon 120

Had 5 flights in the 500 DFC and 1 and a half on the Goblin today. Half way through the second flight on the Goblin it appeared I had reduced pitch and cyclic control. The Goblin was upright and losing altitude but would not climb out with positive pitch. As the tail hit the ground it climbed out but was very sluggish and felt like there was no response to any pitch or cyclic inputs. I managed to manoeuvre the heli to bring it back towards me to land but then I was facing a 700 size heli coming towards me. Throttle hold flicked and I some how managed to get the heli down in one piece. It hit the ground tail fin first which forced the skids on to the ground and the tall grass/small bush stopped it from tipping to the right. First forced auto which I believe was a success!
On checking the heli over the cause was a stuck swash plate. It seemed to be stuck solid on the main shaft which meant it would not move up or down. The only control I had was the movement around the bearing. I will try and get a video up later to show you what I mean.
Apart from that it was a great day flying and good company as always.

A flight with my Raptor 50. One with my Goblin 500 but a nodding tail stopped that.
Then 1/2 flight with my 130x until I crashed it and did in the third tail gear this week!! No wonder Fast Lad and Midland are out of them.Happy Landings.

I went after work with the intention of trying my newly built Trex 500, which i bought as a fixer uper project, last time i tried it had a terrible vibration so i abandoned it!! but i have converted it the DFC since then, hoping the problem would dissapear...
Started with the Blade 400 that went badly! it was pretty windy and it was up and down like a kite until the inevatable fight with the dirt! Broken main blades, bend main, flybar and feathering shafts...
Then the 200 SRX, that was ok but still struggled in the wind until i planted that tail first also.. Bent tail boom, stripped servo gears...
I was pretty nervous about the 500 by this point but it flew like an absolute dream...
well hovered with a few piruetes...
So mixed feeling about the day, but its all a learning curve..Blade Mcx2
