I managed 3 flights on my G380 KSE yesterday. It feels nicely tuned in now, but has taken over 60 flights to get there! 65 flights total on this model now.

Went out yesterday, 4 flights on the Protos Max which is flying as well as ever. Carried on trying to set the 600n project up but suffering vibes which is making the fbl unit spaz out. I'm pretty sure I just need the new fbl mount that comes with the newer 600n.
Got a few more flights on the old skool JR Voyager 50, lovely machine to fly but the carbon frame managed to chew through the gyro wires so had to emergency auto with no tail control!MSH Protos Max V2. Vbar Neo, Cyclone 715, zeal, talon 120
MSH Protos 500 FBL. VX1e, Zeal 480
Trex 150. In one piece and flying well........for now!!

Beautiful calm day, my first flight for over a month. I wasn't expecting much but i managed to do a few circuits, which is a first for me in agility/intermediate mode.
One hard landing took out the skids, but i carried a spare.
Very happy to be slowly progressing!

I tried to fly today. Went out to Epsom Downs and got there about 14.50, it was mostly sunny and light wind. But no one else showed! (and for those that haven't seen any of my posts about this club before: there must be at least two people there for anyone to fly, so if no one else turns up I can't fly either).
That's actually the first time I have had to just turn back without being able to fly. I waited about an hour and a half and by that time I could see the weather was going to start getting rainy soon anyway. It was a shame as I was really keen to fly today.Kasama, Minicopter, Henseleit, JR, Shape, Beam

Why not just fly? Who will know FFS, there's no one there ...
I would.

As the senior helicopter representative in the club I must lead by example, so I have to hold myself to the highest standards possible. There IS someone there, always, it's a public space and there are people walking dogs and riding bikes etc. I'd be leaving all my stuff unattended...
Now, if the field was actually located deep in a forest far away from the watchful gaze of who knows who. Or if I had some kind of invisibility device then I'd consider it.

Get a cloaking device, so you and ya chopper are invisible to the prying eyes of the steaming retards and weasel-brained numpties that inhabit the fields of glee over which the helicopter representatives have dominion...

That reminds me of a poem, and it was a poem that brilliantly sublimated this, transcended that, and counterpointed the surrealism of the underlying metaphor.Kasama, Minicopter, Henseleit, JR, Shape, Beam

got a solid 5 flights in on the 600L
Need a little bit more stop gain in.
More circuits and nose in hovering.
Also begun slow piro's and trying to hold the heli on the spot. Went pretty good. Every time it wandered i stopped the rotation at that heading, and tried to correct it at that heading, then continued.
Also practiced approaches and decents.
A good session!
