Just look the micro's up the field! bit windy though lol. 4 flights on the nano, 5 on the mcpx v2 practicing hurricane's. Then two battery's on the trex 150 doing the same move and yet again I've broken the bloody thing! servo's chattering and making a hell of a noise

I went all 'old school' today. Nitro and flybarred. It's a bit strange doing the nitro fueling and starting routine after not flying nitro for a long time. I know it has been over 6 months since I ran a nitro engine. It was a bit chilly out today, I wasn't quite prepared for that. But the old beast ran really well and flew very nicely. I think it was maybe a little bit rich and I think the governor probably needs to be set a bit higher but I had forgotten how I had the gov setup in the TX! So I'll figure it out before I fly it again.

Yep. Grabbed 3 flights this morning on the V3'd Logo and a bonus flight with the youngest club member's Blade 300X.

i flew gasser, flybared and scale
it's second trip out flying from a little mishap years ago
a tail drive failure flat out 4 inches off the floor mangled the model when it went in backwards
all fixed and flying well

i did fly my nitro fbl 600

in the cool windy uk

Had a day at Frontier with Dave Rand, mixed fortunes today trying to put a flight to music. I'm finding it mega difficult and rather frustrating, not at all helped by me flying like a spanner.
Oh well tomorrow's another day.

Not today, but did get out over the past two days.

Day 1: Had the Trex 450 out and enjoyed a bit of sport flying. Felt great flying a 'real' heli again after weeks of not getting out and having to do a bit of sim flying here and there.

Day 2: Got the 550 Pro DFC out for flight yesterday and it was just fab. Nice still conditions so really enjoyed that flight!

Had a couple of hours up the field this afternoon and ended up almost putting my 700e in! tried a front flip and ended up with it pointing virtically at the floor directly above my head!! queue full pitch and a momentarily very wayward helicopter!! lol

Gave my Synergy N5 a couple of flights today after a total rebuild,
Forgot how quick the old girl is, mind you I had to do a auto after the engine stopped, my own fault,, ran it too lean,
Had another flight after giving it a bit more fuel and enjoyed flying it so will be using it more now.
Also had a few flights with the x50 and that ran well with 620 blades.
So in all had a good afternoon

Yes I did. Had several, and although I have said it before, I am slowly realising that I love the 550 soooo much more than my trusty 500's. Different world, especially now I have upped the BeastX cyclic response settings.
Plus a couple on a flybarred 500 with an EC135 fus on it - just trying to fly super-stable and smooth in the wind is a good excercise.
Roll on tomorrow.

Had an awesome morning at the field today the 450 is flying well again after it's recent tail hub bearing dramas
The 550dfc was it's usual nothing short of perfect

The newly acquired and built acro wot foam-e flew great in the hands of Mike our local master

I had a quick go with it and did ok but didn't fly it again as today, Mark's and planes didn't get on, my mate Mark arrived this morning with 4 planes and went home with one and a big heap of broken foam so I opted to bottle it and take mine home in one piece,

I didn't push my flying today as I've not done much for the last month or so,

Highlight for me today was Kyle being brave/daft enough to let me have a go on his 700dfc, the first time I've flown anything bigger than my 550 and I have to say, it flew exactly as I'd imagined it would, I was gentle with it but at the same time thoroughly enjoyed it, thanks man

I flew today and was pretty happy! I had a big issue with batteries for my TREX 700 but that now appears resolved, or resolving so took the 600N flybarred for a scoot. Very windy and I am a bit rusty but did several loops plenty of circuits, some autorotation set ups (didn't hit the switch) and some nose in hovering..... felt great, just loving this hobby again!

Had three flights with the Goblin earlier! was a bit windy so I came home but will be going back out in a bit as the wind has died right down now

A battery or 3 over the last few hours with the Nano in the back garden but each flight seemed like a battle with the wind. Not a pleasant experience at all. Perhaps it's time to upgrade to something a little bigger if I want to fly outside.
