yup, thats pretty much it. been testing it for a while now so fom a user standpoint it's ready to rock. it would have been out by now but for releasing the new gyro.

So....

I get the whole Firmware upgrade for the Sport is needed for PC interface.....BUT....can someone tell us when the upgrade server will be up and running....?? Website says the end of January......leaving it a little late........??

I got a reply from Angelos yesterday via Spartans support ticket about when the server would be up saying hopefully next week

Notice the spartan site now states:

Update: The firmware upgrade server is currently offline while we rectify some technical problems that appeared during the launch of this service. We hope to resume normal operation within the next few days.

So I must of missed it when briefly available. Did anyone successfully do it?

Perhaps the message is less embarassing than saying it will launch at the end of Feb?

Grrr not happy I want this on my 600e lol. Its not the end of the world right enough.

Suppose I'll have to set it up using the dodgy flashing led and stick option. At least on the Lt2100t I can see more than one light and its clear.

Without the supporting software it makes this Gyro harder to setup than otherwise needs to be. Heres hopeing its sorted asap

folks, it's VERY close. i've just 10 mins ago tested my own gyros via the tool so just tidy up the loose ends and we are cooking.

dashik, i have to disagree, i don't think there is an easier gyro on market to setup in all honesty. you have 1 led and 1 switch to flick. i guess it's maybe what your used to.

LOL and theres the problem with posting in text, you cant get the humor and tongue in cheek bit to show up, I did put a smilely at the end, I was not really being serious. It does look very easy to set up, its just I like my toys and really want to sort the setup out via the pc lol

well mate, programming it with the pc is not the "in" thing. doing it with a mobile phone is the way forward........trust me...lol

Ahh well I have a Dell mini 9 and its very handy. Also if I really wanted I could get the bluetooth adaptor and program it via the HTC Advantage that I have

ds760 Sport upgrade

My apologies for the delay in the making the Sport firmware upgrades available to the public. It has taken longer than anticipated due to the absence of some software components on our leased web server needed for the operation of web product registration and firmware update application.

On the positive side, the product registration is now on-line and the changes to the firmware server are very close to completion. Just registered my 3 and bluelink and found one with some aincent firmware....!

Ohhh and the old boxes dont have the serial number on the barcode label....
