I had a couple of finishing touches to do with the airframe as I was exhausted last night so thats its now complete. I have started installing the electrics and I'm just waiting on my radio to finish charging so that I can get it done. This is my first time setting up a Beastx so it may take me a wee while to get it done but I will post up when i'm finished doing it

Out of interest I'm not sure but I presume it comes with a fuel magnet or alike. It doesn't look like there much room for a header tank.....
            Cheers

There's no fuel magnet, just the usual clunk end, I prefer a header so I have been working on a bracket so that I can graft one on and I'll post a pic if/when it's done.

Just an update on my progress. It took me ages to get the tail smooth, the main problem was the plastic links between the grip and slider, the collared screws were just too tight in the plastic holes. I ended up pushing the flat (non sharp) end of a 3.2mm drill bit through them, it doesnt damage the link it just stretches the plastic enough to allow them to work smoothly and slop free.

I'm on the electrics now but despite Outrage claims that there's lots more room in the N2 it's proving a proper headache fitting it all in.

Not only will that upset the CoG fitting it back there it looks very prone for breaking the frame the first time it comes in.

Your choice but I would be moving that further forward or removing it completely.

Yea I looked at that but it does seem like a long way back, I'm trying to make a bracket that will hold it level wit the front of the main tank.

I have gone with a MOAS clunk on mine. It doesn't stick but only time will tell if it will keep drawing fuel as I know that some people have had issues with them

oh right sorry about that thenn its the only way i could think of i am the lynx moas clunk but would like to us the header tank for aswell this may seem

and with regards to the frames breaking i do see you point but was thinking of getting a set of the the canopy break off clips and where the header bolts on to the spacer putting i was going to put one on there so it brings it forward a tiny bit not sure how that would work out tho

just had a go of doing it now did not bring it forwards loads but it may help save the frames so not sure if you guys would approve but its the only way i can think of with the standard parts

                          hope this will help

Take it out of the bracket, put some double side sticky foam on the tank and stick it to the side of the main. Make sure it's clean and then use goop to seal around it. You can put it where you want then. If you crash and it comes off it doesn't crack your frames.

I did that on my trex600. Didn't even bother sealing around the tape and the header is still stuck firmly 2 years later. I have been really surprised at how well it has stuck (so have many others at our club)I thought the tank in the N2 was supposedly "larger than standard" negating the need for a header tank.Been a good build to read. Just waiting on my N2 kit to arrive so I can start on the build.

Nice one Del... looks the business. Let me know when you are going to maiden it, I am back up in Scotland tomorrow for a couple of weeks, before heading down to Leicester.
If you can keep your head, when all others around are losing theirs - you have probably not understood the seriousness of the situation!!
