Clean the sleeve, then put some red locktite on it and press it back in. Leave it a couple of hours and reassemble everything. It will be fine. I've had that on every 700 both electric and nitro that I've owned...

how much oil/grease should i put on the actual sprag bearing?
Also - people have said Automatic Transmission Fluid is ok.. so I'll use this instead. Or can I use Marine Grease?
I'm just wondering if the oil would leak onto the actual inner sleeve and start all this problem again?

Need help - I'm installing the One Way Bearing back tonight but I have forgotten which way it should freewheel?
Assuming the OWB is installed back in the main gear, is the main gear supposed to freewheel clockwise or counterclockwise when i'm holding the head firm?

                and what grease?
                Lithium Grease or
                Marine Grease or
                Auto Trans Fluid?

Head should turn freely in the normal direction and the one way will bite if you try and turn the head backwards.

                    Hope this makes sense.

ahh crap - dont tell me it's on the manual... ;o/
this is the only manual i use : Align T-Rex 700E DFC KX018E15 Parts Finder

                        i'll check the manual now

still need to know if ATF is the best lube to use - i have no other lube apart from the grease i mentioned.

Thanks. I don't really understand the first post you wrote.. can you clarify? how is it destroyed? I cleaned it up and it looks to be fine. it's a genuine question, by the way.
This is the first time I'm dealing with the OWB so obviously I don't know anything and you have to be more specific.

and you're right = they're freaking expensive! I should have stuck with my 550!

I use a tri-flow synthetic grease from fast lads for owbs. Not caused me any issues.

Stripped screws and the sleeve has ground out the casing, if your putting ATF (rofl) in it, it'll go everywhere and fling out and you'll end up with the problem all over again.
