You don't need to do any of that, that's for the old Nitro.
Just need to undo the cap slide out the sprag bearing, clean and regrease.
You don't need to remove the sleeve2nd place sports class, Helifest 2015

Isn't the owb slipping caused by the slipping of the sleeve hence it needs to be red lock tight?Originally posted by Dave Rand View PostYou don't need to do any of that, that's for the old Nitro.

By all means carry that out. But we're talking about a fairly new Dfc 700e that's a lot of unnecessary work when a quick clean out and regrease will do.Originally posted by tsangbou View PostIsn't the owb slipping caused by the slipping of the sleeve hence it needs to be red lock tight?2nd place sports class, Helifest 2015

I am confused!... You were saying your owb over spins your motor when you pitch pump causing it to cut out. What will clean and regrease do to the mechanics of the owb if your sleeve is still slipping?Originally posted by Dave Rand View PostBy all means carry that out. Right the problem with the one way SLEEVE is an old problem from a few years back with Nitros and V1 Electrics, If and I mean if the sleeve is slipping which I doubt then do the mod.
The motor on mine was overspeeding because the owb was slipping.

Hmm ok, I'll do this test. The main gear is still out but I'll see if I have time now before dinner to do this and will update. ThanksOriginally posted by parksy View PostSo if you want to check it's slipping, hold main gear and try turning head backwards. If it slips you prob got grease or oil between the owb and the bearing case. Does it slip in main bearing case or sleeve?
by the way, I've had around 15 flights on this heli

Hey muscleflex, hope we (all) can find the solution. Did you mention how long you had heli, have you changed anything, has it flown fine before, what bits/ electrics have you got hooked up in there?Originally posted by muscleflex View PostHmm ok, I'll do this test.
