I would (and do) configure in the full +ve/-ve pitch for IDLE2, and the same -ve (about -6 degrees) for Normal, IDLE1 and HOLD. My governor is only active in IDLE1 and IDLE2 running different head speeds and this means the heli is tame for circuits in IDLE1 but in IDLE2 I can practice my flips, loops, stall turns and inverted etc...
I have always though that enough pitch for an auto (i.e. around -6) to maintain the head speed on the way down would be sensible as it might just buy a cheap or successful unplanned auto...
