before you go any further, if the kit does not have it, consider fitting the MOD1 gear set, I had a spare set of the ordinary ones which I leant to a friend (stripped the tail drive gear) and then found couldnt get hold of the torque tube drive gears, apparently they are in short supply. I am going to change and have just got the gearsets but you have to change the pinion as well. much better now rather than later

Thanks for the tip, Rob. I'll go with what I've got at the mo. Looking at the MOD1 sets on Fast Lad, it seems that the HN7043A set comes with both the TT gear and the pinion. Hence if I damage the forward gears I'll have to buy both anyway.

The LE comes with the improved std main gear, and so far, i've not had a problem with it (+30 flights) It was the first edition main gear that had a problem.Henseleit TDR

Got the cyclic and tail servos installed now. Just wondering - I need to buy a satellite Rx cable for my AR7000. Is it possible to bind the 7000 without the satellite Rx attached? If so I can march on and do my set-up whilst waiting for the cable to arrive.

Mind you, if I cut an order with FL, I'll have one on Tuesday. Think I've had enough building for one weekend.
I also still need:
- throttle servo (S3152)
- muffler bolts and gasket
Are the servo cables long enough to get to the Rx, or am I likely to need any servo extensions?
