Managed to maiden the 500DFC today after a rebuild and fitting a Vortex. Flew great after a few very minor adjustments on the tail gain and cyclic gain. Just wish I had more time today. Managed to take advantage of the great sun and got some good pictures of Forza and Bothma.

Had a great time with the Goblins and the 300x,had the whole field to myself for about an hour then Lee turned up with his 500 pro,only to discover he left his tx at home ..

The weather has been so good this week, good temperature, no rail and little or sometime no wind. I have flown my 450 almost every day this week

Took the Goblin out again today.
LOVING this machine !!
Had a 10mph cross wind, so used it for some speed runs ! WOW !!!

Yep two more flights on the Goblin, more packs on the way. Did my first nose down funnel and tail first hurricane, not to shabby either.

I spent a good couple of hours doing nothing but the A certificate manoeuvres! And can I just say it's incredibly knackering standing there trying to hover precisely for 8 flights straight, each flight was 8:30 (plus a couple on the 450 for good measure!)

My forearms were done in from constant little corrections on both sticks Tring to keep the heli at a constant height/speed! It's made me even more keen to get into F3C though!! Blackshark fuselage and a 3 bladed head coming soon!!

Really precise hovering takes a lot of concentration! You realise very quickly that there's a huge difference between hovering in an arbitrary spot in the air and having to hover over a flag or a cone. I can almost do some F3C ish hovering if I just improv it without any flags, as soon as I have to hover over a marker of some kind it all goes out the window.
