well left the field at 20.30 today ...

had a few flights on the 550 dfc - enjoyed it and happy to be alive still - introduced some aileron during a loop and had the heli roughly 80cm above me when I took a side step to push it back into the air ... another lesson learned ...

good flights on the 700 again feels much better than the 550, might need to up the pinion and add some bigger blades than the 520s ...

superb relaxing flights with the quad - as usual ... really enjoyed it ... and no, no pants war damaged during the above unintended stunt

Took my 550dfc to my mates place to play in his field behind his house

Soon spent only two lipo's

But it flies excellent imo, well happy with it
Enjoyed it so much I drove home and got the 450 and drove back put 5 packs through that too
Hopefully I'll get out tomorrow too

After 6 packs last Thu, 6 more yesterday before noon and 5 in the evening, 3 more today followed by rather spectacular crash which seemed very much like mechanical tail failure combined with my poor orientation and rescue skills.

Only a little 3 pack fly this afternoon, meant to be working... All went will, except for the jello fingers towards the end, practising nose in, thank goodness no crashes :-)

Had a great day.
5 flights on the 500. 2 with the FPV camera running. Not game to fly off the camera but. Think a plane is really the one for FPV. Just wanted to play around. So 3 flights normal sport / light 3D with a successful auto at the end :-)
3 flights on the Goblin. Last one just awesome. Just all my normal sort of flying but managed to tie the whole flight together really nice. Just felt so relaxed and all the moves just happened.
2 flights on the 250. Almost got it sorted finally. taken ages but finally think I have it close to the mark. Just have to tidy it up now. Electrics looks like a dogs breakfast.

So all in all very successful day

Had an awesome time this morning. 5 packs through the Logo, got it running at 2300 head speed now and it's flying like a dream. Had a couple of packs on the 450, right laugh, Porscheboy (Paul) had a go and couldn't get to grips with the fact that the boom came loose and lost drive to the tail causing an uncontrollable piro lol ('its not me, I'm not doing this!') lol after a quick tweak it was back in the air and I thought I'd try a nice big auto to finish off; put it up almost out of sight, hit TH and she started to descend lovely, then I seemed to lose all aileron and elevator control, was thinking this ain't right then noticed the blades were stopping as I hadn't gave it enough neg pitch Doh! I thought game over for it but after throwing it full neg managed to get the headspeed up again and land her quite a way over the far side of the field :-) hahah just call me Curtis Youngblood lol even took off and flew back to the peg in one piece, totally buzzing and creasing up. Won't be trying that again soon though. Blade stop auto on a 450 :-)

I managed to get out flying today after 2 weeks of bad weather and a heavy work load!
Anyway, i managed 4 packs with the raptor E550 and maidened my new Trex 550 DFC with beastx which is awesome!
I can't believe how good these helis are, everyone should own a trex 550!

Ballsed up an auto after many succesful ones which caused the lipo strap to break ejecting the pack thru my new cano . Just skids, cano and elevator servo gears. Epoxied the cano back together so a £17.50 crash lol

Sounds like a decent crash to eject the lipo out the front. And only 17.5 quid damage. Was that the 550?? That amazing. Sounds more like a 250 crash :-)

At last managed to get out had 3 flights with the vision 50 and 4 flights with the 130x

It was the 550 and it was a well used scorpion lipo strap. It was more a hard landing than a crash and had the strap not snapped the cano would have been fine

Had a good day at eynsford club, took the 600 off its skids for the third time, only hovered it, listen to the wind and the heli didn't feel it :-)

Much better weather than expected. 4 on the Logo and pretty much most of my time spent trying to even out the feel of elevator and aileron tic-tocs. You can't take away how straight this thing tracks in the air though :-)

i had 6 uneventfully pack thought my 450 tried forward flight with a roll and spent 1 battery doing noise in hover and anther doing slow circle's in front of me (my small demons i did not want to do) now done and dusted

also did some flat funnels start off slow i thinks still tiding up my flips and rolls forward and back wards loops did half a back wards circuit and just starting on inverted movement all in all a nice day

+ don crash was just unlucky after so many really nice autos and on the other hand shaunys (stop blade auto ) on his 450 was not just fantastic but bloody lucky well done shauny ....should of asked him to by my lotto ticket this week doh!
