Just had a bit of sim time. After 7 months of no flying i'm finding it hard just doing a basic upright hover. It's ridiculous how much my flying deteriorates once I stop flying everyday. I'm worried i'll stack my logo on my first lipo when I decide to repair it.

TBH I can't see me joining in the foreseeable future despite it being very close to my house & passing it 3 times a week. I've been flying for free for too long & to start paying £82 a year (bmfa as it's more widely accepted) is kind of hard for me to justify. Yes there's the social aspect of it all & many other benefits of flying at a dedicated club field but then I've been flying on my own for the last 7yrs & besides i'd be flying at your field on my own 80% of the time as everytime I go past it's empty. I always do most of my flying weekday afternoons. i'm sitting in the holiday house we're renting in Selsey with a large patch of grass in front of me, my 450 is sitting also in front of me together with a stack of empty stella bottles.
must resist flying under influence (sim has also demonstrated that i cannot fly for toffee)Comment

4 Flights with the fusion - first time out in an open field without just hover space.
Finding it hard to do slow stuff, I can zoom about a fair bit and had to reign myself in a fair bit. For some reason my figure of 8s turned into wow doesnt it go fast...Comment
