Yes, weather surprisingly was good, so charged up in the morning and went to the field. Many flights on 600sx and Mini Protos, really good fun! I can't stop being impressed by CGY750 on 1.31 firmware.

Took the little mcpx with me as we all went to see my parents, who live about 10 feet from middle wallop air field, had four lipo's through the little begger, getting better at these circuits, even managed to pull off some loops and a few stall turns.

Sadly though, the poor mcpx has had a rough time of it with me learning, needs a good going over and some bits and bobs replaced.

Flew my 600 in an open field for the first time since I started this hobby together with my mate and we just love the open unrestricted space. With my limited skills, I did my best to "fly it like you stole it" stlyle. Grinning from ear to ear as we went home. Will fly again tomorrow with the 7hv. I was simply amazed how we flew ours helis like airplane cruising till we could see it. This flying season will be more enjoyable.:thumbup:

Had a fun day yesterday ... 7 successful (as in not crashed) flights completed...

Went to my usual field to discover that the farmer had moved the sheep in... at least the grass will be nice and short soon. The cloud base was also very low (pea soup comes to mind.. so doing a stall turn would have been a fingers crossed moment). Had 2 packs for the 450 and 2 for the 550 charged. Decided to go to my parents to discharge the packs in their garden (plenty of hover/orientation practice). My wife ended up taking some great shots of the heli with the my camera

Had a fairly good day today went to the cricket field with a few of the guys and had a 3 packs with the 450, the 130 stayed in its box because it was pretty windy and was fairly hard work so I didn't really push myself too much Then came home and went to the park which is a bit more sheltered from the wind and flew the rest of my batteries including a demo of my 550dfc to a potential new member to the hobby He was impressed with my limited ability so that was nice

Yep. Had a quick flight with the Logo again this evening. Now the lipos have done some work they're coming to life and the heli handled the gusts pretty well. 4 mins at 2160 rpm on a 15T and putting back 2150 mAh on a 4000 pack. Will be cranking the timer to 4.30 and at this rate i'll be on nitro flight times when the 5000s arrive.

Had another 4 packs with my new TREX 550 DFC, it handled the wind no problem, 12mph winds with 24mph gusts!
I love this heli!!

Big smile on my face. Just done one battery on my 500efl.
Decided the hell with it and did a forward flip ( only ever done one on my 450). Then another. Then some loops and more flips.
It was hard to get to the point of just doing it after practicing on phoenix. This has given me loads of confidance.

No ! I have the shakes most of the time I fly, as it still scares the you know what out of me.
Cannot wait to do it again. Sadly it won't be this week, snowed under with work

5 bats on the nano cx in the kitchen and 6 on the mcpx in a v windy garden!
