had 5 battery's in my 450 pro that pesky tail kick is back I'm going off 3g will have to get bestx after Xmas doing loops flips and rolls with some fast flights its all good fun
well i went out again today and was doing really well i was holding the inverted hover much longer and did my first forward inverted flight and my rolls and flips are much better now
had 3 great battery's doing nice flips rolls loops and inverted hovering then i try ed some tick tocks and was OK but lost hight quick with them to need more pitch for next time
so i moved back to doing flips to watch my Helli have a fit in the sky i hit throttle hold and did a hard landing bending the skid piped and of course it topped over killing my align blades and the normal smashed and bent parts you get when a 450 pro goes in hard
I took my FastLads winnings out for the first time today (130x) and I must say I'm very impressed as It flew awesome straight out of the box, loads better than my old Mcpx, Flipped into inverted no problem It actually feels like a heli rather than a fly

well, wasnt really in a mood after yesterdays building but as it got to the time when we are allowed to fly, I got my things together and headed for the field ... actually I wanted to practice a bit on the 130x to do real loops and/or some inverted flying ...
got to the field and had a chat with the guys, took the 130x to the flightline but the wind was just too strong as it was all over the place, hit the deck once ... had another flight on it but wasnt nice at all ... as I mentioned that I wanted to try loops with it initially the guys encouraged me to do it on a larger model anyway ...
as I hadnt charged any packs for my basher (trex 500) I did put my packs on charge and chatted away ... when the packs were charged, checked over the trex 500 took it to the flightline to get the feeling for it ... I was just flying a bit around when waveydavey was approaching me from behind ... with his calm and jordie (?) accent he explained to me again what I should do when I did a stall turn ... "keep going, just pull it over" he said ... when I explained that it was my first stall turn ever and I wanted to do those at least first to get a feel for it ... well a few stall turns later I did as he said, I pulled it over, bit low and flipped it ... ok no the real deal but we can do better ... next try, better ... changed the pack and gave it another go ... improving and I was pleased the way it went trying it the first time ever ...
few more and when I was just pulling out of the wind to go back into it, crack, shizzle, crackle ... throttle hold, and here comes the first auto-rotation ever ... nope not enough lift from the head speed, though I kept it level it looked like it may go in a bit harder than it should ... went into the field to collect it, didnt look bad at all ... after full inspection only one skid support broke off, all "in tact" - seems like either the one way bearing or the motor, will need to look into that more deeply ...
so it seems like Sundays are my progression days lately, first stationary flips 3 weeks ago, today first real loops plus the first unintended auto-rotation with nearly no harm ...
I'd call it closing down a really good first season
edit: just checked it over - its the motor that stalls, any recommendations or should I just replace it?
4 flights on the nano, while my colleague flew the mcx2.... loads of interaction from the disc wash.... loads of fun. Have nailed nose in on the nano..

Took the 130x out again today in between the rain, If I knew they flew like this I would of bought one, or does it just feel this good because it was free

Got another 3 flights in today, about to help with the xmas lunch. Hopefully i'll get another 6 in. But i got my 450 Also i've mastered flipping to inverted and i'm getting ok at hovering inverted!
