Had 3 flights with my re-built Blade 450X, 2 flights each on my 2 550E FBL and 2 flights with a new motored (700MX) Goblin 700. I was going to have a third flight with the Goblin making a total of 10. But whenever I do a final flight, something usually goes wrong. So I decided to call it a day.

One flight with my Trex 450 pro, then less than perfect landing and forced change of TT gears :-/

finalised the setup and maidened the 550DFC today (almost ended in a mess as the anti-rotation bracket lost a screw, fixed now) - all good finally, still need to tweak the headspeed a bit ...

had another flight on the 700 then, as it also needed further tweaking after the optimisation flights lately, love the model ...

so almost ready for the new season once the 500 has its new motor in ...

It was jolly windy today. (15 to 40 mph). I had a go with the 450 but landed after a minute or so. Even in FM 2 it was a handful.
I had three flights with the 600 but as it was windy I wasn't too ambitious, Tail in hovering as usual with a bit of movement side to side.
I then watched R4nd0m's 550 maiden flight and was then very impressed when Andy K threw it about.

Had 3 on the 450, 1 on the 500 before the footballers turned up, one of them commented on how it was to windy for Helis and this will crash, just before I took of, I've never flown that aggressively or that low with the 500 was the nuts, I was shaking afterwards lol

Grabbed a test flight with the 600N today. I had recently acquired an Align digital pitch gauge so decided to go through the vbar setup yesterday. The 600 has never flown so good and I tip my hat to Mikado for such a great FBL unit. The geometry is far from the most ideal position on the slider but it didn't show any potential issues in flight or in the logs. Just waiting for the Quick UK tank bung for the 700 and then that will probably monopolize my flying time Bring on the summer!!

Tried some inverted circuits with the nano outside. Bit too breezy tho!

Took both the mcpx and the nano out today, fitted the unweighted blades to the nano- very impressive in the wind and good performance to boot !!!

12 batteries , over 2 hrs of flying with trex 450. At the end felt pretty confident hovering in simple orientations, despite 15mph gusts of wind. Woo hoo!

Had a couple of flights today, by far the windiest conditions I've ever flown in.
pleased to get back with no crashes and must have set the new speed record for a 450 haha.
Good practice to fly in bad conditions I say - good for your reactions.

FREAKING YES I DID ...

had some amazing flights on the new 500dfc, amazing feel though I think I need to up the headspeed a bit still and need to get the governor working as I currently fly fixed endpoints but its a very nice model and the canopy looks gorgeous near and far, thinking of getting the color scheme transfered to a 700 dfc canopy any recommendations where to get this done?

First time out for 2 weeks, 5 flights on the recently upgraded 550e DFC, 2 flights on the 700e DFC, and a couple on the 130x.

I was fairly determined to get out there a bit today following Sunday's travel difficulties so I managed a couple flights and then the combination of temperature and wind began to feel just that bit too cold.
