I flew today just practicing 4 point tic tocs. Yesterday i flew better & found the sweet spot in backwards flight, well it's was far to knife edge to be a backwards inverted circuit but it wasn't knife edge enough to be a hurricane but i found the sweet spot so i needed near zero input to keep it in it's position.

Thanks :-) The Robbe is getting up in years now but it's not yet 'vintage'. I tend to treat it like you might do with a classic car but I really should fly it more because it's built like a tank and I have a ton of spares for it.

I used to have the Youngblood version - I loved it.

well i was out flying today and finnaly did some nice noise in flying and did my first noise in hover im really chuffed been plucking up the courage for ages now to start practising that now onto loops rolls and inverted

I just flew my 130x on the new Turnigy lipo's. Inverted grass trim in the garden whoooop! Love this thing.

I've been flying the 500 and mCPX every morning this week so progress has been good. Getting much better at circles and nose in and even manages a few untidy forward flips (at great height!!) with the 500 this morning. Charged the batts up at work (shhhhh) so will take the 500 out again after work for another fly...

Gonna have a fly of a 130x tomorrow night at the club so no doubt the wallet will be taking another bashing this weekend....need to do some research on the cheapest place to get them

Good to hear you're out again and that the 550's on the mend too :-) As for winter you could do what I did last year and shovel a landing patch in the snow and fly :-) ..................or sim and a cuppa!

Flew my Stryker into a tree this morning. It's in many pieces. Now I have to decide whether to repair it, or stick the electronics in something else like a Funjet.

I'm off to join up at Heli-extreme this afternoon, so I might take my 130X with me.

and don't go to 5 acres on the week end between 9 and 4 its hard to find a safe spot to fly I'm normal there about 7 AM ish on Saturday mornings so its really quite and no1 is around to watch me with and my phone taped to my head to recored the flight lol

you want to meat up tomorrow for a flight I'm taking the family to watch paranorman about midday but after that its all good weather permitting
