Did YOU fly today??

Dig this ol' thread up again Managed a few packs this morning in the sun shine. Our family lost a dalmatian last night (passed away), quite devastating. A dog yes, but still a family member. Anyway, getting out into the nice crisp weather with heli is, as we all know, the most perfect way to find that escapism. Was flying some nice inverted moves which I have never done before - all seemed in control too .

Had too much to do this lunch, then a Doc appointment, then nursery parent teachers. Then tomorrow I'm in another office. Nope no flying for me

Condolances to you and your family mate, we lost our dog nearly 2 years ago so I know how you feel, we still miss him like mad, as you said they`re not just pets they`re family members.
I flew my Twister gold the other day and decapitated one of my wifes solar garden lights, smashed my rotors and stripped the main gear, i`ll be glad when my T-Rex 500 arrives, £26 for the Twister blades, what a rip off

Got out today to test out my old Raptor Titan, as I have not flown it for about 4 months, I was thinking about selling it, but seeing the prices now days, I might as well hold on to it. Despite the wind, I managed to my surprise, hold a nice inverted hover for ages, longest I've done and much more stable than my 600 LE ! Rolls were a bit slow, but I've got some green paddles somewhere, keep meaning to try em on the good old Rappie !

'twas a bit too windy today, hope to get out tomorrow, tis getting that time of year when the helis fly their best in cold still clear air... :-)

Met up with Discoferret down the field for an hour or so, to check out his pride and joy (Velo 50) and finally see it flying. We both got some nice flights in - 3 packs worth of flying myself with an auto into the long grass whoops.

got ten packs in on my 450 pro yesterday, five of which were mid day, in strong winds in Bournemouth! was fine though, only hary bit was landing. the way the weathers been lately, unless its raining, im gonna fly!

Got a week off so trying to get a few packs through the Logo.

Managed 10 packs in the last two days......so far

Went out with the 450 today. Only have 2 packs and still getting used to how twitchy the 450 is. Also noticed it almost needs no pitch changes to do flips I've gone from my TT360 with flybar weights to a 450 without them so it's a lot more responsive to cyclic.

On the second pack when I'd finished I decided to have a go at hitting TH a few feet up and land in a mini auto. Cool, did a few of those in the end, loads of fun Only thing was I noticed the heli much more difficult to hold where I wanted it as the power drops, but I guess that just normal.

Yeah baby. Maidened my Atom550 with beastX. After a misshap with a tarot unit, I lost confidence. But now my confidence it totally restored on 2nd lipo in with the BeastX unit. I've not been properly flying since before Xmas really. Time to sell off the Flybarred head now there is no going back to a flybar.

Also fiddled about with some fpv today and a go on the adrupilotmega quad. quite a boring vid but was just dusting off the cobwebs really and getting used to the quad flying modes again.
