I managed 3 tankfuls on a maneuvering area at lunchtime... Even turned it side on and flew forwards. Stopped and turned it 180 degs and flew back across me! Well chuffed.

I had a great day flying today. Checked out a new field and managed to hover nose in for the whole pack, 6mins! I also did half a pack inverted tail in and did my first aileron tick tocs. Then my heli lost power and control for a few seconds but I managed to recover and bring her back safe. :-)

2 x 500 flights and a hack about on the large quadrocopter this lunch time. Bit windy but all good fun. More flying tomorrow oh yes - hopefully more time for more flights.
Bit of a waggy tail on the 500 and having to have HH gain at 30% to help cure this. Not good enough and really want to sort this out. Might try the TT soon (still running belt drive). Also might fart about with the USB connection for the quark gyro and have a play with that too.

Just been out on lunch & maidened the Trex 500, only hovering & side on orientation to start as only have 2 x 6s lipo's (must get more) & it's the 500's first proper outing.
The 500 feels a bit more intimidating than the mcpx & Trex 450 but all landed safely & a grin on my face
