Gav said he is going to try and meet up with us tomorrow afternoon. I texted him earlier saying we have to try and convert you to FBL and he replied no chance "He has old school written thru him like a stick of rock" lol

Ha Ha You know i think i'll take that as a compliment....My Logo flies good enough with it's flybar & besides i have to have faith in enough electronics without having to worry about a FBL system. I really don't want to be screwing around with set ups especially when all is well & i'm in serious grass roots training

Oh i maybe a bit later than 2pm finish as i have a machine in Christchurch i have to emtpy but it all depends on how many calls i have in southampton tomorow

Yup good for you paddy. It's just more expense to convert and no point upsetting things on yer logo while in training.

Happy to get out for a short flight with my Trex 450 pro or should say hovering in the back yard, after a little mishap, that caused the replacement of pitch servo, main shaft, automation gear, front drive gear and blades.... The joys of this hobby :-)

I've been practicing my sets this week so my freestyle will be rusty. Just seen the weather.....around 70F tomorow WOOO

..spent an hour trying to get the 600 os55 running.. put it aside
..spent half an hour trying to figure why my gasser kept trying to cut out whenever I flipped it..got board scaring myself with a heavy machine losing headspeed and tail authority... put it aside
..spent an hour charging batts for the 500... great first flight and then caught the tail on a clod of earth on landing and stripped both torque gears..put it aside
..trimmed up some stakes for my pear tree espalier frame and hammered them in and burnt a pile of rubbish and other assorted chores..

Had a great day, clear skies 5-8mph wind... My new 450X got a good few flights in and really impressed with it so far.

Also took the MCPX along for some fun.. cracking day, which could not have been much better.

I flew today!!

Flew my little msrx indoors at lunchtime, still getting to grips with side on and nose in, also had a fly after work outside, a little bit of wind which made it fly up high very quickly, unless its dead calm my little ultra micro struggles with wind!!!

Loving it tho still, and practicing flying an mcpx on my phoenix now and again in readiness for when I buy one after I get wed later this year!!!!

I can land the mcp without it smashing into a thousand pieces which is a bonus, i think i am going to have to structure my flying on the sim tho, rather than just going for crazy 3d stuff. Start with the basics and move forward from there, its just so much fun going inverted!!!!

on a different note i drooped the hk500 and bent the main shaft so now all my hk500 inners are align (slow build trex 500) upgrading as i break it

little 400 Ive done a couple of loops today but Cos i use 2200mah 3 cell its to heavy for anything other than a quick yank it over need to fix my 450 now ??

and yes i was out with my glider as well it gliders loverly hk bixler but that did end in a bang lol need some shades

Grass is cut ready for a nice afternoon of flying. Popped down this morn to walk the dog - 5 mins with the mower on the grass - just the job. Lovely smell of freshly cut grass on a sunny day.


Simon is going to pop down too and have a couple of flights.

Cheers dudes was a nice little meet up today. Fantastic weather really enjoyed the hour n a bit down at the field. I was enjoying the more smooth approach to flying inverted circuits. Ferret - you really are looking good with the backwards flying and piro flips! Simon - great flying again, Kol said to me he was impressed.
