Not sure what's going on mate, just give it a miss for a few days until it warms up a bit.

I haven't flown for a week or two now which is unlike me but too cold and I'm planning a new PC rig .

A miss!!! ooooo noooo lol. I'll only not fly if i'm busy. I need to wash & polish the car & as Gav said i also want to do a bit more on the Gixer.

Well i think i finally sorted my 250 out, did 3 packs today. Just gonna set the head up properly while I'm charging the lipos.

Showed my brother my velo 50 in the garden needed to break on the new piston ring and bearings !:0) was also happy that it started straight away which was nice as it took 15 to get going lady weekend /0( LOL

Yep, i was practicing piro flips again...i'm determined to nail them. I've reduced my rudd ep again from 75% down to 70% & this may sound very slow but it cured my rudd cyclic timing issues. I managed 4 full flips in a row but they were drifting all over the show because of collective management. The piro speed is still ok for other moves for me anyhow so it's ok.
I also done & this is a 500% complete one off fluke.......A PIRO TIC TOC!!!! Yes, I done a Tic & a Toc only once but it was a perfect tic toc. It was totally unintentional as i was trying to do piro flips but obviously mistimed something & pulled that off instead I can't even do them on the sim

i flew my blade every god dam day over xmas and loved every flight. apart from the hard landing one night after thr33 stella's.HIC!..but i was only hovering so skid, tail blades and boom. PHEW!! HIC!!

Had a great day at scha with ChrisP Tony stevens Sean (seally) mark slater. There was some superb flying done by all except sean who decided to build his 6hv whilst us lot flew. Cheers guys

Had an unplanned sesh with Gav. I was popping down for a flight on my way home from Wickes & he was there with Dog & HK500. Had 3 good flights each. I had some more continous piro flip practice & on my last pack i done what i reckon was my best ones so far. It wasn't drifting like usual so i was getting my collective management better & my stir was more in timing with the tail. I need consistancy & then some fine tuning (my thumbs not the heli) before i start bringing them lower.

Gav had some new KBDD paddles on his 500 making it roll & flip much faster. The HK never fails to impress me how good it flies for such a cheap kit

Sounds like you got yours well sorted
Put mine in a heliartist airwolf fuselage as I found even with some trex parts on it,it still would'nt roll right and I seemed to get an extra elevator movement when attempting say a tictoc or any manoeuvre that involved rapid changes ,,

Funny, but since it was installed in the fuse, it flys ok now,, I suspect my hk500 is probably better suited for scale flying than 3d !!!!

I've not noticed any interactions when he's flown it, his tic tocs very smoothly

Just seems that the hk500 is a bit hit and miss,,
there's 3 guys I know that have them, and 1 of them had similar flight traits,
now sorted with decent servo's and metal head upgrade,, I tend to fly it like it is, a cheep heli to practice with, faults not withstanding..

Yes 3 excellent flights today with the HK500CMT along with p4ddy + logo500.
Zero wind and hovering 500 inverted with it 'on song' was just great - the smallest things please me. I've changed /improved a few weak points on the 500 but having decent electrics makes the biggest difference. Looking forward to flying again.

Can you list your setup and gear installed on yours as I 'am going to get another hk500-with metal bits from start,,, fancy another crack at getting it to fly right this time

Such a big thread and I don't think I have even looked at it once and I dontknow why.

Anyway, i had a great day today with the 550 and the Srimok. Just trying to smooth out what I have been doing lately and having fun. But it was not for all, there was a massive crash today which was a fellow members brand new 700e f3c version.
It went in HARD. New kit jobbie and it was gut wrenching to see. Then a 12s 600 went in then a 600 nitro cut out do to restricted fuel line, inverted then a srimok e lost a link on the bl ade grip and he was lucky to land and THEN a bolt come out on a outrage 550 on the tail.
