Couldnt agree more. As I said great setup. Well presented. Not sure why seeing the pilots and buying stuff should be mutually exclusive. Think of any other competion, Motorsport etc and there are always loads of trade stands. Part of the day out surely? I was going to mention the tareq noshow but as some people seem a bit touchy about any kind of constructive critisim I thought I would leave it.

dont get me wrong i would have liked to have seen some more trade stalls, i had a list of kit i wanted, basicaly all the electrics for my goblin, but i can understand why its not practical to bring a whole shop to a show, if u really want it you will most probably just order it online the next day, im not having a go about tareq not being there its just for me that was the only thing that i wanted to see and didnt, everything else i wanted to see i got to, some amazing flying great weather a few beers and a good weekend away.
will defo be there next year

I don't think anyone is getting touchy lol...it was reported nearly a week before that Tareq may not make it...it certainly did'nt bother me or anyone else i know.

Lets face it,we all have seen his video's and many people these days dont even watch the whole flight.

Was the likes of Jamie,Duncan,Dunkan,Sebastiano etc good enough....i could watch Dunkan Bossion all day long!

        Tareq who????.....pmsl

Best weekend ever, the flying was awesome, and ALL pilots were on it from the first flight, if you think only 2-3 pilots were good, like to see you do better ;-)
Alot of hard work went into this event and all through the weekend everyone was working there ass off, and I would like to put out a big thanks to Dan Temple (boggy's) son who for the whole weekend stood on the pilot line to make sure no pilot went behind, not once did he complain or moan and he stood out there for hours on both days in the baking sun, and he was just enjoying every min.
There were some awesome pilots that until this show I didn't know alot about as I haven't been to the masters since it left the uk, but Timo Curlis at his first comp was so good, loved his flights, Jamie Robertson so technically superb and his interpretation of music is out of this world. I had the pleasure of being Duncan Boission's taxi all weekend and the lad is just so an awesome pilot, most exciting flights of the weekend for sure.

I had an awesome time this weekend!
The flying was just outstanding - really impressed by Duncan Bossion's flights all weekend! Such ashame he crashed in the finals as I wasn't too sure on which way it would go. It's been a while since I've been really amazed by the skill of some pilots.

I do however see peoples concerns about the lack of trade stands and the annoyance of Tareq not being there. (Tareq not turning up is out of smith bro's hands sadly).
All in though, this was a competition to find the most awesome pilot's, and that I enjoyed thoroughly!

Just to say a thanks to Grant for taking his own tail blades off his own model to help me help Duncan O , who was having real issues with his tail blowing out and having a really poor anti clockwise stop .

How Duncan flew the model in this condition yet alone managed to be the best brit and 3rd overall I have no Idea , a real pleasure to help him and his dad Wayne , they are awsome to talk to, as was everyone at zone .

I have to mention Jack Bishops flight too , really great music choice and flying to it and he was only drafted in on the day to fill in for those that couldn't make it as was squeey (I didn't kill opti andy's logo , honest!!) Pete awsome try pete being as you had never flown it before, just wait until you get your Raptor back :-)

"MIND BLOWING" if you like 3D and i do this is was simply awesome , fantastic 1st ever 3d comp , i have watched thousands of videos but none do justice to seeing it in real life ! ok there where things i think could be improved for sure , some would be just personal preference, some i think like the commentator remembering its not just a adult audience need to be addressed for next year.... but for me 9 out of 10 well done to the organizers !!!

Haha cheers guys . I was bobbing myself on Saturday flying in front of all those big names but I had so much fun I was quite proud of myself lol. All of the UK pilots flew brilliantly though I think that we all should be proud of ourselves, an international competition under our belts and no-one embarrassed themselves! now its time to fight it out at AIR!! BRING IT ON!! LOL

Oh and the event was brilliant!! I can see the complaints about the lack of trade stands as this is what you may have come to expect from a UK competition but so what?? if there was such a high grade of flying going on outside in the beautiful sunshine then there really is no need to complain, just buy them off the net when you get home.

The spin blades stand was a selection of blades and the blades for sale were stacked up in boxes.. what more could you ask for? balloons and a marching band? lol.

The mikado stand, wasn't a mikado stand it was just where the mikado team kept their models so they probs were a bit wierded out seeing someone over their models.

The speakers were great, they found out from Weston last year that the music made the event, it's all about the flying to music so why not pump it up.

I thought it was a BRILLIANT weekend, thoroughly enjoyed by everyone I spoke to, one for the calendar next year for sure!!
