Well folks all is forgiven now, She thinks I'm gods gift. On sat morning she asked if i would take her down to her sisters in Melton Mowbry around a 270 mile round trip for me. So playing it crafty i Said yeah no problem we will even pick your mum up in Liverpool. Man oh Man was i sorry,, 5 hours stuck in traffic after they shut M6 after that horrendous crash (poor sods 7 dead i believe) but i just sat there listening to kids fight mother in-law playing ref and wife telling me how terrible the traffic was and how sorry she was to put me through it?? Happy as Larry thinking of my new arrival i just sat there smiling. He He He. softly softly catches Monkey me thinks.

It's arrived, and woh she is a gorgeous, you can not compare the quality of the blade with Honeybee King its just to lovely to fly, so I'm putting it on living room cabinet so i can look at it all the time. Now who knows how to get the DX6i working with Phoenix because when i try it all the controls seem messed up and thats with the right TX selected in controllers.

Another question ?? will my e-sky AC adapter work with the balance charger for blade or do i need to use my 12v gel battery from my plane flight box. thanks in advance folks.

In what way are your controls messed up in Phoenix m8? I have the DX6i and use it all the time now, no issues at all. Be happy to help if you can tell me how you're doing it and what's wrong. BTW you did calibrate it again didn't you?

If the tranny is set up for CCPM it wont work on Pheonix, create another model in the tx without CCPM, there is a help on it in the Phoenix doc, can't remember where.
Not in front of Phoenix at the mo, for some reason they want me to do some work, I'll post a link if I find it

Thanks guys, set up another model and turned off CCPM whilst it does work in the control settings with DX6i, i had no throttle control with plane models with the CCPM on. now all is fine and dandy. Still looking at my brand new Blade 400 she's a beauty had all the lads looking at it when they came in from school. Man some things in life can not be beaten, a week off work, messing with your new gagits, instruction manuals every where and a cold beer, and flying on Pheonix. Just top flight all the way.

the a/c adapter dosent work mate you'll just get charge errors.you can however use the cx2 charger with the 400 batteries it takes a long time but works!!!

I put it on 12v battery and charged, spun the rotors, wet myself, and put it back on cabinet. ill wait till honeybee cp2 arrives to go flying. man its awsome engineering to die for.

The ACDC as supplied by E-Flite for the Blade CX2 will work with this charger. I have the charger from a Blade 400, (don't ask, it's a long ongoing story) which I now use to charge my Twister Skylift batteries (also 11.1V) and it works fine with no charge errors.

Man oh man, I'm trying to get my head round all the setup features and set TX the same as i have it in Phoenix with 25% expo, if i stuff it all up ?? and there is a good chance i Will, is there a reset button on the thing or am i stuffed, its times like this you wish you had a flying club near you with some learned members around to help you out.

Can i just run this past you folks, i think i got it?? but would just like a bit of confirmation that my settings ain't had an adverse affect. it regards expo settings and my DX6i .I would like to put 25% expo on elev and aile. So with both the ELEV D/R and AIL D/R set to 0, i then goto adjust list select D/R & EXPO, leaving the D/R at 100% scroll over to INH% and press roller then move to 25% this being on both the aile and elev, so now. If i have this right!!! when i switch the two switches to the 1 position i should have the 25% expo on them two channels? In other word dumbed down the stick movement, after setting press and hold roller for 3 secs and return to main screen. sorry to go on a bit, but not used to these hi tech flight controls yet, why don't they let you program them from a PC life would be so much easier. or do they in the more expensive TX systems.
