Well I buried my old faithful SE V2 a couple of weeks back, there wasn't much left so I set out to get a cheap and nasty replacement in the air.

Ive got me a HK 450 FBL pro for £45 delivered, I've ordered a K-Bar (mini v bar rip off) FBL unit for £22.00 and I'm transplanting my servos, speed controller and RX off the old SE.

So far I'd say the HK thing looks pretty good, the only downside was a fair amount of slop in the tail assembly but I've mixed and matched parts from my old model and got it all nice and snug now.

But having looked it over I can't see why it wouldn't fly pretty well, the proof will be in the pudding and I won't know that til the k-bar arrives but I'll keep you all posted.

From the bay, they've ramped the price up by a quid but if it's any good it's worth the 14 to 40 day wait!

Prevents any unwanted vibrations on your rotor head this way
I get the feeling that folks overlook this a lot. The blades may be equal weight but CoG is often well out. That takes a fair bit of sorting out.
Helicopter pilots get it up quicker.

I think a lot of people invest in balancers and when they see the blades balance they leave it at that. I have just checked a pair of blades that have amazed me as they weigh the same, exactly the same, and have a matching CoG. Yet a few weeks back I had a pair of HK blades that were so far out on the CoG I was tempted to sling them out. In fact I don't use a balancer so much these days.

                              Have you programmed the ESC?

                              Motor wires connected properly?

                              Throttle hold "off"?
