450 clone build

Well I have been looking for a while now at getting a good quality 450 clone kit to build but I wanted it to be as cheap as possible as this heli is only going to be for learning the basics with
i already have a mcpx and Phoenix so can hover quit well now

so I have been watching eBay for a cheap kit and I found a mystery 450 v2 kit ( trex 450se v2 clone I think ) the kit is brand new and not built yet and the seller has already got servos gyro esc and motor so everything that is needed to finish I will put up the makes of all the things when it turns up I have done some research on this heli and quality is ment to be realy good

I already have a spektrum dx6i so I bought an orange r615 rx a turnigy accucel 6 balanced charger an a turnigy 2200 3s battery from hobbyking

all in I have only spent £87 I will be doing a full build thread while I build the kit up and would also appreciate any input from the people in the no carnt wait to get on with it I have a week off this week so should be able to have the first flight by the end of the week

Not as such I am just goin to use the mikey rc videos I will probably buy a pitch gauge aswell

When I first started out I was given a 450 size swash levelling tool by a member on here. If you pm me your address I will send it on to you with a spare pitch gauge to get you started.

You dont need to go mad on loctite.
Only use blue and clean the screws with alcohol.

i no one is where the tail servo goes in but where do the others go in the rx

and the rc says battery/bind on one and thro on the other I thought thro is throttle but that is the esc isn't it and it would go in the battery one

The one with the single signal wire will go into the gear slot, the other into rudder and your tail servo plugs into the plug.

You will use the gear channel as the gain output from the rx to the gyro.

Hi

The batt/bind port is for a RX battery pack(you won't use a rx pack) and the bind port to bind it to your transmitter. The throttle is where the ESC plugs into and the ESC lead will supply power to the RX from the main lipo battery.

If you look at the heli from "tail in" the cyclic servos are elevator (channel 3/ele on rx) closest to you, aileron on the right (channel 2/aile on rx) and pitch on the left (channel 6/aux 1 on the rx). I think this is right for spektrum.
