If it doesn't work with a sat it could be a number of things. Does the sat work? Is it the right sort of sat DSM2 or DSMX? Is there an option in the software or a jumper on a board that needs setting?

Ive got everything plugged in correctly and ive selected DSMX sat in the software. I get some sort of connection but only on the rudder, and even that is not working as it should (its 100% left or 100% to the right...)

Seb, Can i call you Seb? I found some info out on RCgroups site, took some trolling mind you. you have to Bind your tx through at least a ar7000 rx with the Sat on it which you want to use and then once that is done it should work, let me find the site again....1. Bind ar9000 and sat. 2. Setup zyx-s with item 1 with normal receiver type3. Change the receiver type to DSM2-34. Connect sat. alone to zyx-sAfter step 4, the zyx-s should have solid red light Does anyone out there setup zyx-s with satellite/9X2/DM2 module - RC Groups

I haven't yet gone for flybarless, but I like reading manuals. Some are very difficult to understand because things get lost and go wrong in translation. Sometimes the people who write manuals do not understand what they are told by the engineers. You then have to figure it out yourself and try to work out what they are trying to say.

Sometimes it's man's nature to dive head first into a project not knowing what he is doing so he can figure things out for him self but for me I at least need a heads up or prod in the right direction, and i'm not alone here. As most or should I say all until i'm corrected of course FBL unit's come from the far east in some diguise or not they are all going to come with poorly writen instructions. Only becasue there is sometimes so many different ways to say the same thing in the oriental language

Sometimes it is good to read the manual. I usually try to figure things out then read the manual, then try to figure things out again. Vikki just followed the manual and is doing very well.
