  • Align servo's.. Trusted ?

    My lucky escape Today with my Vibe 50....

    My Vibe 50 has Align Servo's in it. Heard the Stories the case's crack and break.... Now note I am NOT a 3D flyer so just sports flying and gentle circuits.



    and the Lugs left behind in place!!!



    Now Poll time do you Trust Align Servo Case's....

    I didn't think they were to bad but would you trust your helicopter after this with align Servo's....

      Mine are/where fine. Lots of things can damage case's.
      Should add option 'had no problems'

          At the end of the day, you get what you pay for. They are going to be half the price of any other brand with the same spec for a reason...... Like every other product in this hobby.

            well its neck and neck at the moment after two votes !!!!!
            I have had the 620's since October / november last year and no problems yet....

                So was this a crash/knock damge? Did it happen in flight? Was it bad handled?

                  Ah This Vibe was Never Crashed or had any nasty Bumps and I don't Fly 3D

                  Discovered it when the helicopter would never hover straight it just wanted to go backwards in the hover!!!!

                        I've got a 620 that has lost almost all its torque. It was only used a couple of times on the elevator servo. Luckily a discovered the problem on the bench.

                        I still don't know what when wrong with it though. Can I send it to Robbe UK and get them to repair it in hope they send me a new one instead?

                          with my experience of Robbe if you send it off now you can get lots of promises of new ones or replacments, but youll still be getting them at Christmas.

                            As a matter of interest mark, do you use the small ferrules in the rubbers when mounting your servos?
