The tail gearbox has been back to RC Hub and sent back to me as it was apparently perfectly OK. It is a new boom


And I would not worry about missing it in the FS section as if I dont get it flying its going up in flames for you all to see

No idea what they done but it was the only part of what i sent they sent back and did not replace.

Its tight on the boom but no where tight enough. Like I said I can turn it by hand at all times while doing it up. Thats with also leaving a little gap and not doing it right up and also doing up till the screw goes tight.

Its not right, simple, whether its a QC issue with the odd kit I really could not give a ****. I want my new model I spent my hard earned on flying but also I need to have confidence in it. what if the tail goes again but this time whack someone???

Short is I'm not modding itas if something happens cos of that its then my fault, something else needs to be done from Outrages end.

Be interested to see what the official word is just hope it gets sorted soon as the fusion is such a great model once your actually flying it I'm positive you will enjoy that part of it ! It's a shame the initial problem still troubles you !

Seriously tho this heli when flying will give you a grin a mile wide.
You need that tailbox either modding or replacing mate I suspect thats the problem.
Maybe send it down & let me measure it on our 3 point bowers micrometer then send the findings back to rchub.
Just let me know if you require any help with it.

Hi

This is a bit shocking! When you buy something, it must be fit for purpose. Modifying etc should not be required, and it would invalidate any warranty etc.

I had one of these on order, and now I most certainly will not be getting one :-(

Come outrage - sort it out!

Ben, that is pretty cack, I'd be tempted to send the whole thing back so they can check it and test fly it, then at least they will give you a bit of confidence in it

Still having a few issues jamie yeh. I managed to get a clutch bearing from rcbearings
Then on dissasembling my fan from the engine one of the fan blades split in half
so I need another fan set, shround & fan around £6.99 from fastlads.
Problem is it seems like every week theres something else thats gone wrong with it.
Its not outrage thats at fault here its just me & owning helis lately seems extra expensive.
I have had my 700 fail my esc on the 550 failed yesterday I have a squeek from the rear torque tube on the fusion.
I'm down to one heli out of 5 thats flyable & thats my 450 pro.

I agree I do have to many helis Jamie.
The starter assembly keeps failing on my 700 so I am going to completely over haul it maybe even upgrade the cllutch etc.
I think its due to the compression of my align hz but its weird how the velocity is struggluing with the same area.
I was lucky with the 550 I was giving it a beasting far more than I normaly do when I brought it in fast side ways to the patch & I spotted smoke billowing from the canopy
one of the fets had blown. I quickly hit hold got it down & ripped the canopy off & disconected the lipo. Bar the esc there is no damage.

I love my 450 pro & my 700 pro Ben but they would only ever be sold or swapped for a 700 f3c
