So is this the level of support and safety you supposedly get by purchasing stuff from the UK and not from Hong Kong.

Hope you sort it Ben,i dont know the legalities of it myself but would think you have a case here, personally if it was me and i had no joy, both the retailer and the importer and maker would get no more business from me and the model would go in the bin,i have done this to with two models in the past for non help with design problems.I still detest that importer with a passion and everyone connected with it.

      Ben,
please be patient for a few days; nobody has denied you warranty. As I said before first we need to know if Outrage considers this an rate incident or something that needs to be looked at their end. Unless we come to the bottom of this it possible that you will damage your heli again from the same reason.

I have no doubt if i were to approach the retailer they would look after me for the sake of £75.

Kel your thoughts and opinions are just as valid as anyone elses. Kel has offered me help, so has Paul and so has James. They are not who i have issues with and im sure they feel a desire to stop this whole situation as much as i do. I have said a few times their advice via pm or on the open forum has been great but there is little they can do when it comes to decision making and this is where this lies.

If my mlney aint good enough for Outrage i will take elsewhere and never spend a penny with them again. I never realised just how many people listen to me, read my posts and actually respect what i have to say until this issue arose. I have never had so many pm's, call on skype and on msn too in one day as i have had today. Ok most have said from experience all thos abput putrage having god customer service is crap as they never got the free buts etc and others just saying good on yer for shouting and not sitting back and accepting it.

Its a shame as i dont even know if its a good heli yet, not even done a flip with it lol.

I almost wish it is not gonna be a good heli but knowing my luck it will be the bomb and i will receive no customer service and therefore lose out as someone will get a free heli or youtube will see another smoking heli

Even on hf i have had people pm me saying they seen the thread and want to buyit cheap of me. Madness

Edit* just seen your post Angelos

I was as patient as i could be, i really have none and expect answers immediatly, not just here but in business and my personal life, might be a flaw but thats me and it cant be too bad as im here were i am today. Im normally a very mild mannered person and will help anyome when and when i can as most will say as i have even helped people on here whom i have never met, given many a free bit too and asked for nothing in return, organize the christmas raffle and donate all proceeds to charity but when i get a bee in my bonnet thats it and i cant stop until answers are given

Yes i was told by you/your staff today to wait until Friday as you will have an answer by then and yes, maybe i should have but like i mentioned above i have no patients and really dont like to feel like im being fobbed off as i do it all day long myself to others

I hope i getthis gets resolved satisfactory for all our sakes then we can carry on and go on being happy merry joy joy

Ben i think you need to give the guys a chance to assess what has happened and then post whether it has be a satisfactory answer or not. Posting that nothing has been done after just 2 days isnt going to help your case. Angelos and the guys i am sure will be working pretty hard behind the scenes to get it fixed for you.

Btw i have nothing to do with Spartan/Outrage or whoever your waiting on a response from

C'mon Kel... in all honesty... all of us know that Ben has the right to get upset on the brand he invested (with a certain high levels of hope). Give the man a break. We all know you were trying to address the issue in a genuine and professional manner. I personally have read and seen all the posts in regards to this topic. Again, its understandable, as a rep - you would be considered a face of the brand on here. You're a good guy and so is Ben and the other guys who posted on this thread. Don't get ****ed off because of some misunderstanding. Just like how you wrote your comment based on what you 'felt' you had to say, Ross did too.

Everytime a thread is open regarding a particular brand, their reps and pilots try to explain their point of view and because of some misunderstanding, they 'feel' bad and they just stop posting then on, in regards to the issue! This is NOT good, really. This is a forum and we are all just typing what we think guys. So is Ben, right. He's just venting out here because he knows there are people who are listening. Sometimes words dont sound the way they're meant... please, don't get frustrated and stay out thinking you're just talking to a brick wall.

Complicated as it may seem, the point over here is not the £75, as all of you may have understood. It is the principle behind support. Broadly speaking, BOTH you (Kel) and Ben have valid points... infact from what I understand, one way (your's Kel) or the other (Ben's), this will end up with the main company, RcHub. All of us know, aproaching the vendor will sort the issue out but I guess Ben just wants to know why his way isn't being looked at or bothered to be respected here. Like I said guys - this is a matter of principle - there is no wrong, there is no right. It's just the outcome of the way matters are handled, from a business perspective.

So, trying to bring a little peace in here guys... help me out, Kel. Im sure Ross dint mean it the way it sounded. We're all learning and helping each other out right?!

(lol... just to make it clear... I just know you guys from the forum, so please understand that I AM NOT trying to take anyone's side here!..)

I hope so mate, I really do.

If I look into it I suppose its not RC Hub Im ****ed with its the stance of this whole industry its just that its happened with one of their supported products. The point is I could go to the retailer and get my bits as part of their customer service but then what if they get screwed over by ANY distributor or manufacturer. Its pointless as everyone keeps banging on about supporting the UK shops etc but when we get an issue and go to the retailer and they sort us out no question, who gets shafted? They do. They cant then come on here bitching about it can they.

We all know most of the retailers will bend over backwards to help us when and where they can but its the distributors and manufacturers and I talking about them all now, that are shafting the retailers and us. This is what needs to change, how they can think they can screw us and get away with it is beyond me. Well it aint beyond me because we let it happen and dont say a dicky bird to no one, cos thats the British way, keep quiet and the problem will go away. I'm not a person to sit here and keep quiet about it or hide it under the carpet.

People need to have a long think about it as we dont accept this sort of treatment with anything else, and I mean anything else so why do you accept it with something we enjoy doing and spending literally thousands on evey year?

Ok, posts like this do no one any favours at all. Be it the OP, the manufcturer, the retailer or anyone else involved.

Despite what some people might think my intention was never to just create a noise to get my way, if anything creating a noise was only going to make matters worse but this was the way it unfolded and we ended up here.

At thr end of the day i think the company's in this industry need to change whether thats the big huge manufacturer or the little hobby shop round the corner. Whether it be minor issues like the terms and conditions on a website which are totaly illegal, companys grey importing or companys not giving the customer support. That is for another thread and i think im gonna start a revolution because if you sit quiet and accept things for the way they are then nothing will change

But for this thread im going to close it now as i have had a satisfactory response and that is going to be left there just like that!

Thanks all for the opinions and input given whether on the open forum or via pm, skype or msn lol and whether or not others liked it or not. We all have a voice and they all deserve to be heard.

I have reopened this thread as Im absolutly furious with this heli!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

The service I recieved is not at question as this was resolved to my satisfaction so Im happy with how it was handled in the end.

So what now I hear you all droaning over your keyboards. Well finally put it all back together last night and left the tail till last. When I put the tail back on the boom no matter how loose or tight it was it still spins on the boom. I was purposely turning the tail gearbox while doing it up and at no point was it tight enough for me not to be able to spin it quite easily by hand. I tried this on my other helis including the Logo's which are not pinned and they dont budge. So I even tried putting a layer of that tape stuff on the boom first, no joy it still spins. I cant believe this heli and I will not fly it. It was a new boom but not a new tail gearbox bit!!!
I have drill's etc to pin the boom which I attempted but you need such a short screw its incredible, then its got to hold in place on the thin boom.

Well Im sorry but until a resolution/mod or whatever comes from Outrage I will not fly this heli. I should not NEED to do a mod to a bnib ****ing model!!!!

To say Im ****ing furious is an understatement!!

Whats the ID of the tail gearbox? Everyone has been measuring the boom, perhaps it is the gearbox at fault.

The tail gearbox has been back to RC Hub and sent back to me as it was apparently perfectly OK. It is a new boom

And I would not worry about missing it in the FS section as if I dont get it flying its going up in flames for you all to see
