If I could buy a combo kit without the 3gx might be a different story.

    Cheers

Align-Trex offered the best price minus 3gx, Rob at Midland matched it and got the sale (I use Midland a fair bit) and Fast Lads came in lowest of all on money off. I'm very happy with what I have and the price I paid and the service I got (next time guys - a bit softer on the apricot scrub, fair took me skin off)!

    Best regards.

    Vikki.

I got my kit from raj at align and he offered a good price credit for removing the 3gx. I went with the bx unit also although I'm tempted by MSH brain already and ive not even installed the bx yet :-/

The batteries arrived today, not as heavy as I thought they were going to be. Will weigh them later.

I looked at the HK site today and the Turnigy 3000mAh 6s look a good price. Will be interesting to see how yours perform and hold up, might just get me a couple.

What is that in new money. lol.

Although it doesn't seem to make much difference I found if you buiild the model as per the manual with the ESC at the front a pack weighing around 430grams balances the model perfectly.

they are a tad nose heavy with those turnigys, I use them, the optipower 2600's are supposed to get the c.o.g spot on. TBH its not a huge amount, I dont overly notice it.

There is a fair amount of room on the battery tray to slide them forwards or backwards just work out the position they need to be in to get the COG right. Also make sure you have the canopy on when checking as I found that made a heap of difference.
