  • With Vbar and 3gx during setup you set the cyclic to 8 deg. But after you exit setup on both systems it had 12-14 or off the scale. I think the systems more relies on the flip and roll rates and use what ever travel they need to get that roll rate you set in the system.
Just double check you cyclic after you have finished and exited setup as I think you will find it is more than 6 deg. 6 deg would be very mellow and maybe a place to start but wouldn't want to try and flip it with 6 deg, would be way to slow.

    Cheers

In BeastX there are two separate steps (one for collective, second for cyclic) to set servos limits. These are after you have "demonstrated" to the system where 6 degrees is exactly.

      • Just what I was about to say. I've set my limits at 11 degrees +/-.

Just sorting the CoG and it's done and I'll do the build thread withe pics and comments.

Going to turn up a shiny brass ring to slide along the tail and lock with grub screws. Should look nice and allow for adjustment.

Pictures in final thread. Now to get me trike out o' the shed so I can get at me lathe!

          • Hi Vikki.
I would have thought you can get the COG correct by just moving the position on the battery when you Velcro it in place. They common trend is the seem to be tail heavy so would be surprised if you need to add weight to the tail.
            Cheers

            • I was going to ask why you would need to add weight to the tail. I use 2700mAh lipos and COG is pretty good.

                  Hi Vikki,
Not sure what you have in the way of tooling etc, but I have a fair amount of odds and sods from my toolmaking days if you'd like to have a rummage some time. They aren't doing much good in my garage all sad and unloved . Hope the maiden goes well, I have just watched the spool up vid, coooooooooooooooooooooooool and soooo smooth. I think I heard junior and chopasaurus plotting his untimely demise, in the midst of his power rush. I saw two helis in the ironmongers' yesterday, asking for coffin nails . The kids these days are so intolerant huh?

                  Cheers,

Well that's a bit undignified for one so powerful, oh, and shiny, shiny. I hope you asked him if that cloth smelled like chloroform to him!! I can just see J & C sniggering on their shelf.

                        • I 'could' strap him to the rack on the back of my pushbike but I think he prefers the less bouncy snooze he gets this way. J and C get the same treatment, muwhahahahahaha!

                            • Erm, J & C are both in my backpack at the moment. C has his tail out a bit and I've no idea what Junior is doing fully tucked up on there with C.
