If you put on a gps (you can make one https://github.com/AlCormack/SpeedGPS), you can try out my speed and drag racing app. You can download them from the Jeti app store in the JETI studio software . LUA is the one bullet point I would add to your list. If it doesn't do what you want.... write (or get someone to) an app for it!

      • I didn't fly today. It was much too windy for my liking. I stayed at home in the warm. I am showing my age a bit.

            • That Raven makes a 700 look tiny. What setup are you running in it?

It is rather large, XPWR 60CC (Closer to the power of a 70cc two stroke), hobbywing 200amp esc, align 815 cyclics all round, 24x 12 prop , an Aura 8 amd 2 x opti ultra 5000. Its a great plane, really well made. A friend has a 120cc which is huge!!

Nice! Good time to be testing it because apparently all the planes were grounded so you would have the sky to yourself

                      • Thanks for the great videos, how does it compare to the oxy3 ? , I’ve been looking at the fireball for a while but thought they looked a bit underpowered
with stock motor , so have been thinking about the mini comet

                        • Mate, due to the weight difference ( the fireball is much heavier) results in two different feelings and i like both of them.

Both can smack well but the heavier heli is more solid on the air.

                          Cheers!

                          • Kenny, the Havok edition comes with the competition motor.
I think the mini comet will be discontinued so your best bet is the Havok if you want to go for the SAB brand.

The price of the Havok combo is very reasonable.

                            • Yeh , I had noticed the havoc combi spec & price and thought it was a reasonable price , the standard fireball wasn’t an option as I would want the comp motor ( adding £90 ) , I know the mini comet sales have been poor so it’s interesting that you think it may be discontinued !!! , the main thing that puts me off buying a fireball/ M comet is the price of batteries which also stopped me making a Oxy 3 into 6s

                              • Despite a good strong wind, I managed a couple of flights with my 450. On the third a gust tipped it over on take off. I got throttle hold on pdq and the only damage was to a couple of ball links.

I also flew the foamy. It coped very well with the wind gusting up to 25 mph, not bad for an indoor model.
