That field looks nice! Smooth as a snooker table. I like the charging tent as well.

It is a very nice flying site indeed. The downside is that it gets very boggy during the winter and access can be a bit difficult. The tent is a £12 beach shelter from Halfords. Yellowstone Beach Shelter - Blue /...

Got out flying this afternoon. I'd been teaching myself upright reverse flight over the weekend on the sim and today I tried it for real on my compass warp.

I've got to say the new skills transferred to a real heli perfectly! Had a couple of issues on my max V2 though so only got the one flight in that ended with an unscheduled auto!

Conditions were quite good with a light North-Westerly breeze at sunny Milton Keynes today. I got in a couple of flights with my, still rather skittish 450 and four with the 600.

It is exactly one year ago today that I lost my original 450 (believed to be) in the pond.

Almost 8 hours spent at the field today. Not all of it flying. I seem to spend most of my time on other peoples problems instead of flying myself, not that I mind for the most part.

Still, I managed 3x flights on my 3D quad, 3x on my Gaui X3, 2x on the Raptor E700 and 2x on the Trex 700L. Only 1x FPV flight, which I only did to take some blackbox data as to why it sucks so bad compared to my awesome flying 5" quad.

Another unsuccessful session last night. Glow plug went on my cheap 600n project (no spares!!) brought flat lipos for the freshly rebuilt protos and i'd gone and plugged the motor wires in the wrong way on the protos max! (everything hot glued in place!) So I spent an hour kicking a ball around the field then went home!

Took the whole fleet down today! Discovered that the glow plug hadn't gone on my cheap 600n, it was my glow starter had broken!

4 awesome flights on the max V2, this thing just flies on rails and encourages me to push for new moves. 3 great flights on the protos 500, been trying out lower headspeeds on this and it's actually far nicer at 2200-2400rpm than it ever was at 2800!!

Finally finished off with 4 flights on the compass warp, these flights were spent going through all the inverted hover orientations and reverse flying. Rough still but getting there!
