3 more on my G380 KSE. Still dialling in the tail setting, but it's looking really good. Managed some of my neatest half piro-flips outside of the sim and a couple of full piro-flips with a slight pause halfway. Also did some fast big air sport flying on my last pack and this thing has a great turn of speed! Also getting very comfortable 6:30 flight times with 2700 mAh 6S packs. Only time I feel the weight is in tick-tock transitions, which I really need to work harder on. My collective management isn't quite there yet on those, I was losing too much height on aileron tick-tocks in particular. Cool heli though, I'm really enjoying it.

Sneaked in another 3 flights on my G380 KSE this evening. It was pretty windy, but it held up very well and hardly affected my flying. I'll have to compare it against my OXY 3 at the weekend to see which is my favourite, but I think the G380 has the edge with its considerable size advantage. I might change my mind pretty quickly if I crash though

Did you fly today? No! And nor for the last 6 or 7 weeks due to working away but the end is in sight. To be frank I've been so tied up I haven't given it a thought but in another 10 days or so it's chocks away to see what I crash first (hopefully not). Perhaps this will be one occasion when I do start on the sim.

Lovely day hovering and a little mishap

Beautiful day with the Blade 230s still hovering in idle up, my lack of patience forced a crash that broke the ridiculously flimsy front of frame again. I wish they would have built this better as a trainer, because that's what it is. All they have done is use the frame from the Blade SR.
I do love it though.
So now i have built up the weak point with fibreglass and epoxy and a piece of plastic.
Lets see what that does. It feels super solid.

Took my Goblin 700 out today had a good flight with it and another good flight on the trex 550L. And a flight on the MR25.

Had a good flying session this afternoon in perfect weather. 4 flights on my OXY 3 and then 3 long flights on my G380 KSE with the big 2700 mAh packs. That's the first time I've flown these 2 helis back to back and the OXY 3 really does hold it's own for such a small heli. But everything was slightly easier on the G380. Managed some nice inverted tail down funnels with both helis, my best yet to date. Both felt easier than the sim too, which was a nice bonus.

I've had a fantastic weekend away down at North Notts RC flying Club, around 20 flights with the Trex 600 & 700, well happy
