I took the Helix gasser out as I had not flown it in a while. It flew very well but I have to admit that I am clueless about tuning petrol engines. I was OK with nitro but with petrol it's much more subtle and it's not as imediately obvious if you're too rich or too lean (unless you go to extremes and then it just won't even run).
I'm slowly putting the puzzle pieces together I think but not quite there yet.

Yep. Charged three batteries for the Chase this morning; part way through the third I noticed some odd vertical jitters, almost like you might get from a strong gust. Perfectly level. Thought I'd best bring it down and... one cyclic servo had failed completely. How odd is that? It turned out one of the motor pins had broken where it was soldered directly to the board.
Also got three flights on the Compass 600 today. On the last one I did a few autos (including possibly my first full inverted), then I tried doing a full flip on the way down. The heli came out with enough height but not much rotor speed, so I tried to engage bail-out but it didn't work (I hate these intermittent bail-outs), so ended with a hard landing and tip-over (bust skid, vertical fin, dented boom).
I got eight flights today on top of eight yesterday including air time for the Agile 7.2, Goblins 770 and 630 and Trex 600 plus a couple of flights on the Blade 180CFX. Nothing exciting to report other than the little Blade 180CFX throwing a tail blade and grip mid flight. Weather was close to perfect which makes a pleasant change!

Sounds like you had a good weekend. Funnily enough, that's one of the few things I upgraded to Lynx on my 180. I had loads of slop in my original tail grips after about 100 flights and decided to get the Lynx ones instead of stock replacements.

9 flights for me mixed between the Logo 480 and Protos Max. Quite windy for me in the region of 15-20mph with higher gusts, but still a good days flying. Wanted to make sure I got out today as the weather for tomorrow looks terrible here with a lot more wind.
I disappeared from work early yesterday so I could get some play time with my Trex nitro. Managed 4 tanks of fuel before need to get home for dinner. Its great fun flying in the wind but hard work, love it....
11 flights this morning, completely stripped and re built my goblin 570 while at it stretched to 610's as I grabbed the Lynx kit in a sale awhile back so spent a few flights tuning. Went ok, but things need to settle in a bit as its pretty much a new heli again. Few flights on the Protos Max and Logo 480 too.
A quick session after work to test the Kosmik out and try a few things out. As expected the Kosmik worked with no trouble. Tried a few different head speeds and am happy with how they are. Tried some new moves but the sky was horrible and I kept loosing the model. Hopefully get it down before next weekend.

I finally got to maiden hover my G380 KSE in the garden. It feels very nice, so itching to get it out to the field.
